Abstract: Carbonation duct (1) for blending a gas and a beverage. The carbonation duct (1) includes a tubular structure (12) surrounding a compression structure (13), the compression structure (13) longitudinally positioned inside the tubular structure (12) and setting a pathway (14) for the flowing of the beverage along the carbonation duct (1). The compression structure (13) includes external diameters (P,C,G) sequentially defining a convergence path (8), a mixture path (19) and a slowdown path (20) along the carbonation duct (1), wherein, in the convergence path (8), the carbonation duct (1) includes a gas entry portion (9) for gas injection in the pathway (14), and the tubular structure (12) defines a turbilionating projection (10) establishing a carbonation duct (1) mixture diameter (F).

Abstract: A mixing ring (1) for dissolving a portion of solute in a portion of solvent. The mixing ring (1) includes a solvent input path (2) and a solute input path (3) fluidly associated to a mixing path (4). The solvent input path (2) is configured to receive a portion of solvent and the solute input path (3) is configured to receive a portion of solute. The mixing ring (1) is structurally configured to lead the portion of solvent and the portion of solute to the mixing path (4), and the mixing ring (1) further includes a diffuser (5) mostly placed in an internal area of the mixing path (4). The diffuser (5) is configured to lead the portion of solvent towards the portion of solute. A system and method for dissolving a portion of solute in a portion of solvent is also provided.
Abstract: A variable pressure device to solubilize carbon dioxide (CO2) in a beverage includes: a carbonation tank, a CO2 inlet valve and a venting valve attached to the tank's top part; a discharge valve attached to the tank's bottom part; a booster pump arranged immediately after the discharge valve; a recycling valve arranged immediately after the booster pump, which is connected to a recycling inlet at the top part of the tank; an outlet between the pump and the recycling valve; a level sensor arranged on the lid of the tank; a CO2 inlet valve attached to a tank side near its top part; a modulating valve arranged after the CO2 inlet valve; a Venturi attached immediately after the modulating valve; a control point arranged between the modulating valve and the Venturi; and a beverage inlet valve into the tank attached immediately after the Venturi, which is formed by a pipeline.
