Abstract: The invention relates to self-crosslinking aqueous polyurethane dispersions containing a crosslinking agent I selected from diamones I1 and dihydrazides I2, and polyurethanes comprising structural elements derived from polyisocyanates A, polyols B having a number average molar mass Mn of at least 400 g/mol, compounds D comprising at least two groups which are reactive compared to isocyanate groups and at least one group able to form anions, low-molecular polyols E that carry no other reactive groups compared to isocyanate groups, compounds F containing at least one group which is reactive compared to isocyanate, and at least one aldehyde-type or ketone-type carbonyl group, and compounds G that are monofunctional compared to isocyanates or contain active hydrogen with different capabilities of reaction and are different from the compounds E. Abstract: The invention relates to binding agents for radiation-cured aqueous paints, said agents containing reaction products ABCDE composed of A epoxy compounds with at least two epoxy groups per molecule, B unsaturated fatty acids, C olefinically unsaturated monomers, D compounds containing unsaturated aliphatic hydroxyl groups and E multi-functional isocyanates, whereby the compounds C are always directly bonded to the compounds B, the compounds D are always directly bonded to the compounds E and the compounds A are always directly bonded to the compounds B. The invention also relates to methods for producing said binding agents and to the use thereof.

Abstract: The invention relates to hydroxyl-functional binder components ABC containing a linear or branched main chain having a polymethylene structure —(CH2)n— or a polyester structure or a structure derived from the fatty acid esters of glycerin or other polyvalent alcohols. The invention is characterized in that said components have grafted cyclic imide structures on the main chain, wherein the imide-nitrogen atom is substituted by a hydroxyalkyl group or a hydroxyalkyl-aryl group. The invention also relates to method for the production of said components by reacting oleofinically unsaturated acid anhydrides B and hydroxyamines C and to the utilization of the inventive components for the formulation of binders.

Abstract: The invention relates to water-dilutable alkyd resins ABC containing unsaturated fatty acids C, which are bonded by means of ester groups to graft copolymers AB containing hydroxyl groups, wherein said graft copolymers AB are obtained by grafting a mixture of vinyl monomers B onto alkyd resins A. The invention also relates to a method for the production of said resins and to the utilization thereof as binders for paints.
