    Abstract: A loudspeaker box (300) has a loudspeaker housing (1) and a sound source (3a) with a non-rotationally symmetrical radiation characteristic. The sound path of the sound source (3a) contains an acoustic element (4) which dilates or constricts the radiation of sound in at least one radiation plane. The loudspeaker box (300) comprises a mechanism which can be used to position the sound source (3a) and the acoustic element (4) in different rotational positions relative to one another.
