Abstract: The invention relates to a voice over internet protocol device capable of auto-selectively dialing up public switch telephone network or internet phone, said voice over internet protocol device can base on preset operation mode to detect if there is an in-coming call ringing signal transmitted from public switch telephone network thereon, if there is one, then the employment status of at least one terminal apparatus connected with said voice over internet protocol device can be based on making unused terminal apparatus be transferred to a loop which the said public switch telephone network is connected thereon.
Abstract: The present invention is an apparatus for multi-level loopback test in a community network system and method therefor, in which a loopback test device is installed between an Ethernet switch in a community and a central office so that the loopback test device can be utilized by network management system in central office to perform a three-level loopback test on the community network system to easily obtain the information of whether there is a fault between central office and loopback test device, whether the connection of Ethernet switch is good, and whether loopback test device operates normally.
Abstract: A system for managing a community Ethernet switch and apparatus utilizes a network management control circuit for receiving network management packets from the exchange through an independent line and based on the received network management packets for setting a management value of a management information base (MIB) of a simple network management protocol (SNMP) by the SNMP so that the Ethernet switch is capable of monitoring the at least one network interface circuit based on the management value, and transmitting enable or disable signals to a detection loop installed therein based on the management value when the network interface circuit is disabled for performing a loop detection on each network interface circuit, writing a test result into the MIB, and commanding the SNMP to collect the result for transmitting to the exchange for analysis and determination by network management personnel.
Abstract: The present invention is a method of providing a bus switching device on an application PCI bus based apparatus for separating a command bus from data buses of a PCI bus; and providing a CPU on the application PCI bus based apparatus for controlling a switch of a line between the command bus and a PC Card bus compatible IC device, in response to a control signal sent from the CPU the bus switching device is activated for enabling the line between the command bus and the IC device so that the IC device is capable of receiving commands from the CPU and decoding the same for determining whether data sent from the data buses is required to be processed. Thus, it is possible of implementing a PC Card bus compatible element on an application PCI bus based apparatus and completely eliminating bus conflict problems.

Abstract: A hub includes a bluetooth system module coupled to a hub module. The hub module is also coupled to an upstream port and a plurality of downstream ports provided on a housing of the hub respectively enabling the hub to connect to an electronic device via the upstream port and to connect to a plurality of peripherals via the downstream ports for performing a wireless signal communication therebetween, thereby reducing the number of cables connected between the electronic device and peripherals.
