    Abstract: A method of deblocking a lens component (1) fixed on a thermoplastic block (2) of an ophthalmic lens block comprising the steps of: a) applying a pushing strain on the surface (14) of the lens component fixed on the thermoplastic block; b) providing a warm gas flow at the interface between the lens component (1) and the thermoplastic block; and maintaining the pushing strain during the step of providing the warm gas flow at the interface between the lens component and the thermoplastic block, wherein the stress applied to obtain the pushing strain of step a) is greater or equal to 0.1 MPa and/or less or equal to 1 Mpa, and wherein the temperature of the warm gas flow of step b) is greater or equal to 30° and/or less or equal to 70° C.

    Abstract: Disclosed are methods for manufacturing semiconductor devices and the devices thus obtained. In one embodiment, the method comprises obtaining a semiconductor substrate comprising a germanium region doped with n-type dopants at a first doping level and forming an interfacial silicon layer overlying the germanium region, where the interfacial silicon layer is doped with n-type dopants at a second doping level and has a thickness higher than a critical thickness of silicon on germanium, such that the interfacial layer is at least partially relaxed. The method further includes forming over the interfacial silicon layer a layer of material having an electrical resistivity smaller than 1×10?2 ?cm, thereby forming an electrical contact between the germanium region and the layer of material, wherein the electrical contact has a specific contact resistivity below 10?4 ?cm2.

    Abstract: The present invention provides relates to an edible composition for anti-diabetic benefit. Diabetes is one of the major and commonly occurring health problems in today's world. Pharmaceuticals companies are very active in this field to develop new medicines for preventing and controlling diabetes. There are several medicines available in the market for the treatment of type 2 diabetes. There are also prior arts which describes composition for the prevention of glucose intolerance and/or diabetes. We have found that though prior that discloses compositions for prevention of glucose intolerance and/or diabetes, it is not that effective for preventing diabetes. The present inventors while working extensively for providing an edible composition for preventing diabetes have surprisingly found that a particular combination of Inula racemosa and theobromine is effective for controlling and/or preventive diabetes thereby satisfying one or more of the aforesaid objects.
