Patent number: 9447639Abstract: A ladder safety device, systems and methods of arresting falls from ladders are provided. The ladder safety device includes a safety guide that extends along the length of an extension ladder. The length of the guide along the length of the ladder extends and contracts in unison with the extension and retraction of the extension ladder, and a tension is maintained on the guide to maintain a load during use of the ladder for climbing.Type: GrantFiled: March 15, 2013Date of Patent: September 20, 2016Assignees: Daco LLC, Wildcat Capital LLCInventors: David A. Patent number: 8550015Abstract: A modular office system for work stations includes at least one generally planar horizontal work top having a work surface and an opposed under surface. A plurality of legs are attached to the work top by a plurality of leg attachment structures. Each leg attachment structure has a first side which is attached to the under surface of the horizontal work top and a second side which is attached to one of the plurality of legs. A horizontal connection member interconnects the leg attachment structure of one work top to a leg attachment structure of another work top. A vertical connection member is attachable to the leg attachment structure and includes a vertically extending portion for securing a panel thereto. The vertical connection member has a slot for passage of the horizontal connection member therethrough to permit attachment of one work top to another work top with the vertical attachment member attached to the leg attachment structure.Type: GrantFiled: December 29, 2010Date of Patent: October 8, 2013Assignee: DacoInventor: David Wright

Patent number: 5174892Abstract: A primary filter for the fuel supply circuit of a combustion device such as a motor vehicle engine which removes particulates and other contaminants from the fuel prior to being passed through a transfer pump. The primary filter of this invention replaces conventional primary filters having replaceable filter elements thereby reducing maintenance requirements. The primary filter includes a generally horizontally extending elongated cylindrical passage having an enlarged cross-sectional area compared to the inlet port, thus causing the fuel velocity to decrease and permitting heavy particulates and contaminants to settle out. Fuel is removed from the top of the primary filter which causes the fuel to undergo a change in direction which further enhances the contaminant separation effect. Contaminants are collected from the lower portion of the primary filter in a collection bowl or remotely located collection tank. Magnetic particles are removed from the fuel using a permanent magnet or electromagnet.Type: GrantFiled: May 8, 1989Date of Patent: December 29, 1992Assignee: Daco Manufacturing CorporationInventor: Leland L.
