Patents Assigned to DAe Systems GmbH
  • Patent number: 7789084
Abstract: A method for equipping a personal service unit with passenger oxygen masks includes arranging one or more passenger oxygen masks in an intermediate container ready for use, and then attaching the intermediate container together with the masks located therein within the personal service unit. In this manner, the comparatively lengthy packaging procedure which is difficult to carry out in overhead work, may be effected in a simplified and reproducible manner outside the aircraft.

  • Patent number: 7481216
Abstract: An emergency oxygen system is provided for aircraft passengers. The system includes at least one oxygen mask (2), with a sensor (4) for detecting at least one breathing characteristic value of a passenger using this oxygen mask (2). A control unit (10) individually determines the oxygen requirement of the passenger on account of the detected breathing characteristic value. A dosing device (8) is actuated by the control unit (10). The dosing device (8) supplies an oxygen quantity corresponding to the determined oxygen requirement, to the oxygen mask (2).

  • Patent number: 7431034
Abstract: The oxygen emergency supply device for an aircraft is equipped with a receptacle in which at least one oxygen mask is arranged. The receptacle comprises a lid which opens in the case of release and releases the oxygen mask. Handling device for reaching and applying the oxygen mask and a device for releasing the oxygen supply to the mask are provided. The handling device has at least one arm which in the case of release extends out of the receptacle through the lid opening into a position laterally of the mask drop axis so that the mask may be reached by a person seated laterally of the mask drop axis.

  • Patent number: 7407528
Abstract: The method serves for operating an air fractionization installation for obtaining oxygen on board an aircraft, with at least two molecular sieve chambers. A part mass flow of the oxygen obtained in the respective adsorbing molecular sieve chamber is supplied for flushing a desorbing molecular sieve chamber. The quantity of the flushing oxygen led to the desorbing molecular sieve chamber is controlled by way of this.
