Abstract: A sole 12 of shoe 10 has a thickened portion defined at an area thereof where a base of toe of user's foot is to be positioned. An engagement is member 30 adapted for allowing a rotating adapter 20 to be releasably engaged therewith. In an inner surface of the shoe 10, there are provided: a slope inclined, as indicated by the line LA, such that a side thereof near to the heel side 16 is low; and a slope inclined, as indicated by the line LB, such that one side thereof on which a big toe of user's foot is to be positioned is lower than another side thereof on which a small toe of user's foot is to be positioned. The sole 12 is formed with a sloped surface 18 which extends from an area of the sole at which the base of toe of user's foot is to be positioned, in a direction toward a toe side 14.

  • Patent number: 5323305
Abstract: A series coupled component partially includes a) a load circuit including an inductor and an EL or EL array having capacitive load characteristic, b) a load circuit including an inductor, a bipolar capacitor, and a diode circuit adapted to supply bidirectional current flows across an LED or LD, or c) a load circuit including an inductor, an EL or EL array having capacitive load characteristic, and the diode circuit. An inverter has coupling output terminals coupled to one end or both ends of the load circuit whereby an AC power inverted from a DC power source is supplied to the load circuit to operate at least one member of the EL, EL array, LED and LD. The inverter has a pair of positive and negative switches each comprising a zero-crossing switch mechanism adapted to automatically close its channel when the current becomes zero, the pair of positive and negative switches each being provided with a bypass channel having a reverse current bypass diode for bypassing the zero-crossing switch mechanism.
