Abstract: There is disclosed a molding compound for making an article including a cellulose fiber, which is prepared by mixing a cellulose fiber added with at least starch, water and a long chain fatty acid salt of a non-alkali metal. There is also described a method for molding an article including a cellulose fiber by employing the above compound and, further, a mold for molding an article including a cellulose fiber with a cavity formed by a stationary side and a movable side which is used therefore.
Abstract: A thin film electric heater employs voltage and current suppressed below values of an allowable voltage and an allowable current. The thin film electric heater includes a thin film electric resistor to be formed directly on a surface of an object to be heated and is energized to effect heating. The resistor has a surface resistivity r, expressed by r=.rho./t (where .rho. is the volume resistivity of the thin film electric resistor and t is the film thickness of the thin film electric resistor), within a range to achieve the heating function of the thin film electric heater while the values of voltage and current applied to the thin film electric heater are suppressed below the values of the allowable voltage and the allowable current.

Abstract: An injection molding unit has an injection molding machine 1 for injecting a molten resin plasticized in a screw cylinder 4 from a nozzle 9 fitted at the tip of the screw cylinder 4 by advancing a screw 3. An injection mold 31 forms a hollow 36 for forming an injection molded product 35 with a cavity mold 33 and a core mold 34. The injection molding unit further has a pressure relief valve 40 for releasing the resin out of a resin passage when a pressure greater than a predetermined value acts at any point on the resin passage, including the screw cylinder and ranging up to the terminal end of the hollow. The cavity mold 33 is of a split construction, in which a wall portion of the hollow is formed a plurality of segments.
