  • Patent number: 12209707
Abstract: A pressure containment assembly for use with a plurality of sensor assemblies for monitoring a parameter within a pressure vessel is disclosed. The pressure containment assembly includes a primary seal plate to seal against pressure in the pressure vessel and a plurality of passageways to receive the sensor assemblies. The containment assembly also includes a secondary seal cap connected to the process plate and covering the passageways. The seal cap includes a recessed region that is oriented such that, when the seal cap is sealed to the primary seal plate, the recessed region creates a sealed pressure containment chamber.

  • Patent number: 10962421
Abstract: A temperature sensing assembly includes first and second temperature sensors disposed within an elongate mineral insulated conductive sheath. A junction point of the first temperature sensor is electrically connected to the conductive sheath. The second temperature sensor is electrically isolated from the conductive sheath. Measurements obtained from the electrically isolated temperature sensor can be used to test insulation resistance of the assembly or temperature indications from the electrically isolated temperature sensor can be compared to measurements taken from the electrically connected junction point to take a variety of corrective actions during use of the temperature sensing assembly, such as adjusting the installation of the assembly or applying correction factors to measurements obtained from one of the temperature sensors.

  • Patent number: 10788374
Abstract: A temperature sensing assembly for measuring the temperature of an inner wall of a high temperature vessel includes a thermocouple assembly having multiple junction points to provide indications of temperature. The assembly further includes support structures for supporting the thermocouple assembly in the interior space of the vessel and to maintain the junction points proximate the inner wall of the vessel.

  • Patent number: 10295491
Abstract: An assembly includes an electrical conductor disposed within an elongate mineral insulated conductive sheath. The electrical conductor is electrically grounded to the conductive sheath. The assembly also includes a test conductor disposed within and electrically isolated from the sheath to provide an indication of the insulation resistance of the assembly.

  • Patent number: 9557225
Abstract: A quick connect temperature sensing assembly for measuring the surface of a structure includes a thermocouple device, a docking device and a spring loaded adapter to connect the thermocouple device with the docking device. The docking device can be made of a magnetic material so that the assembly can be quickly connected and disconnected from the surface of a structure for sensing the temperature of the surface. When disconnected, the end of the thermocouple device extends beyond the bottom surface of the docking device. When the bottom surface of the docking device engages the surface of the structure, the end of the thermocouple is retracted and the spring loaded adapter maintains a biasing force on the thermocouple to maintain the end of the thermocouple in contact with the surface.

  • Patent number: 6550963
Abstract: A multipoint thermocouple for sensing temperature. The thermocouple comprises a sheath having a plurality of conductor pairs disposed within the sheath. Each conductor pair has two conductors of dissimilar materials joined at a unique junction point along the sheath. The unique junction points permit sensing of temperature at different locations along the length of the multipoint thermocouple.
