Publication number: 20090110547Abstract: A method for producing a contoured gap between a rotor and a stator of a turbo-engine is provided. A first turbo-engine drives a second turbo-engine by means of a common shaft, the shaft being mounted in a bearing housing by means of a bearing. The aim of the invention is to enable the contoured gap to be created in a simple and reliable manner. To this end, the contoured gap is formed between a contoured surface of the rotor and a contoured surface of an engine housing associated with the rotor, by grinding the contoured surfaces against each other, using the axial play of the bearing.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 11, 2005Publication date: April 30, 2009Applicant: DaimierChrysler AGInventors: Peter Fledersbacher, Wolfgang Ruff, Martin Schlegl, Holger Stark

Publication number: 20080194368Abstract: In a device with a unit for actuating a motor vehicle transmission superimposes a first torque of a first drive assembly with at least one second torque of a second drive assembly, the unit modifies the first torque and the second torque in order to fulfill a propulsion request of an operator. According to the invention, the unit also regulates the rotational speed of the second drive assembly during a modification of the first torque.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 27, 2005Publication date: August 14, 2008Applicant: DaimierChrysler AGInventors: Norbert Ebner, Thomas Listner

Publication number: 20070256487Abstract: A sensor apparatus for determination of a tire internal pressure for a motor vehicle by at least one measurement sensor in the form of an optical fiber, with an evaluation and computer unit deducing a sought parameter from a change in the light wave. The at least one measurement sensor detects light changes corresponding to the shape and/or size of a tire contact area as an indicator of the internal pressure in the tire.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 3, 2005Publication date: November 8, 2007Applicant: DaimierChrysler AGInventor: Boris Bickel

Publication number: 20070226540Abstract: The present document describes a diagnostic system for localizing faults in diagnostics in a workshop. The diagnostic system takes into account both trivial and costly intermittent fault situations. It is characterized by a structured module concept for the software architecture. Division into localization of quasi-steady-state and intermittent faults is carried out by reference to classification of the diagnostic tasks. The first-mentioned problems can be solved by means of a systematic procedure using all the available information. The modular software architecture with strict separation of protected data and imprecise information supports the guided troubleshooting process. Current methods which operate according to the prior art are used in individual modules of the software architecture. The advantages of the known system diagnostics, such as compression of the suspected components are utilized and expanded.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 4, 2005Publication date: September 27, 2007Applicant: DaimierChrysler AGInventor: Martin Konieczny

Publication number: 20070198190Abstract: A utility vehicle has an electronically controlled drive train which has at least one drive unit, one steering system and one braking system. In addition, the motor vehicle has a maneuvering assistance system with a display device, an input device and a control system. The display device displays an actual orientation and an actual position of the vehicle as well as the relatively close surroundings of the vehicle on a monitor. The input device inputs a desired orientation and a desired position for the vehicle. The control system processes a maneuvering algorithm and at the same time actuates the drive train to transfer the vehicle from its actual orientation and actual position into its desired orientation and desired position taking into account the vehicle surroundings.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 19, 2004Publication date: August 23, 2007Applicant: DaimierChrysler AGInventors: Wolf-Dietrich Bauer, Peter Ebel, Albert Kirchmann, Christian Mayer, Andreas Schwarzhaupt, Gernot Spiegelberg, Wolfgang Stahl, Armin Sulzmann

Publication number: 20070069578Abstract: In a method for shortening the stopping distance of a vehicle (2), in which a braking operation is prepared when a predefined event occurs, the braking operation is prepared if a driving situation which is implausible to a driving assistance system occurs. This permits traffic safety to be improved.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 11, 2004Publication date: March 29, 2007Applicant: DaimierChrysler AGInventors: Peter Hille, Wolfgang Lauer, Thomas Rohrig-Gericke, Ralph Scharpf

Publication number: 20060226246Abstract: A method for regulation of the operation of a vehicle auxiliary heating/auxiliary ventilation by making use of the heating energy provided by the auxiliary heating. The front and the rear system are activated until a certain limit temperature of the front and rear water circuit for heating or air-conditioning the vehicle interior is reached, so that the interior can be heated more rapidly and uniformly, due to the entire water circuit being heated. After the limit temperature of the front and rear water circuit is reached, only the front water circuit continues to be heated, for example, in order to defrost the windshield and to heat the front interior. If the blow-in temperature in the front interior has reached a certain threshold value or an internal deviation of a regulator lies below a predetermined further limit value, only the rear water circuit is switched on again.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 5, 2003Publication date: October 12, 2006Applicant: DaimierChrysler AGInventors: Rolf Röhm, Bernd Seiler
