  • Patent number: 4140384
Abstract: In a film conveyor for use in developing films comprising a first and a second belt racks consisting of a plurality of narrow belts and pressure rollers, and a roller rack consisting of a plurality of squeegee rollers and spray tubes arranged between said two belt racks, the pressure rollers of the two belt racks are so positioned as to press the belts at the mid points of two vertically adjacent squeegee rollers, and the squeegee rollers of the roller rack are arranged in two vertical rows between which an adequate number of said spray tubes are horizontally disposed so that developing solution may be sprayed out directly toward between said two rows of squeegee rollers. Further, the squeegee rollers of the roller rack are driven in synchronism with the moving speed of the belts so as to effect smooth conveyance of the film held between the belts and the squeegee rollers.

  • Patent number: 4127871
Abstract: A method of color correction of the particular application to a color scanner or a color facsimile for producing color separation images by photoelectrically scanning a color original. Usually, color separation signals obtained from the scanning operation are used as addressing signals for reading out correction signals or already-corrected recording signals memorized in a memory. In this case, according to this method, there is provided before the memory a premasking circuit which is capable of converting the functions of the color separation signals so as to convert co-ordinate systems of the color separation signals and the memorized signals. The conversion of the co-ordinate systems facilitates a considerable reduction of the memory's capacity and, at the same time, achieves more efficient use of the memory.

  • Patent number: 4068197
Abstract: An apparatus for stabilizing a laser beam to be used for exposure in an image-reproducing apparatus wherein said beam is suitably controlled by image signals obtained from the scanning of the original beam as modulated. A laser beam, after being suitably modulated by an ultrasonic light modulator, is branched out by a half mirror into two beams, one of which is to be used for exposing a photosensitive material and the other is used as a negative feedback signal. This feedback signal is then added to an image signal so that a linearity between exposing beam and image signals are greatly improved. Further, by improving the linearity of exposing beam, the stability of the exposing beam is simultaneously improved.

  • Patent number: 4060829
Abstract: A method of color correction of the particular application to a color scanner having a color correction circuit, an analog-digital converter and a memory. Color separation signals obtained by scanning a color original are first compressed to the color ranges reproducible by printing inks by the color correction circuit and then converted at the analog-digital converter to digital signals, which are to be utilized as addressing signals. Memorized in the memory are only correction signals whose absolute values are relatively small so as to effect a considerable reduction of a memory capacity of the memory. The correction signals are read out by the digital signals and added thereto, whereby suitably-corrected signals for recording color separation images can be obtained.

  • Patent number: 4051274
Abstract: A method for coating the photoresist by coating rollers onto a belt-like material comprising a perforated film carrier and a metallic foil laminated thereon. This belt-like material, which has so-called device holes or apertures punched off with a predetermined pitch and is particularly to be used for producing lead frames for IC devices, is wound around a back-up roller with its metallic foil facing outward to give a slight tension to the metallic foil. Thus, a uniform and continuous coating of the photoresist onto the foil may be obtained without any dents formed even at those device holes or apertures.

  • Patent number: 4049345
Abstract: Apparatus for exposing an image of a desired pattern, such as a lead frame pattern for producing lead frames of IC devices, with a predetermined pitch on a photosensitive beltlike material consisting of a film carrier and a photoresist-coated metallic foil laminated on the carrier.Apparatus typically comprises a first means for positively supporting and accurately positioning the beltlike material at an exposing position, a second means for intermittently conveying the material and a third means for photoelectrically detecting the amount of the movement of the beltlike material to control the first and the second means.

  • Patent number: 4029404
Abstract: In a vacuum contact printer there are provided a winding roller to which one end of a resilient vacuum sheet is attached and a pressure roller for pressing the sheet against a glass plate. Along with the advancement of both rollers, which are rotatably supported on a pair of bearing plates movable in a longitudinal direction, the sheet automatically spreads over the glass plate, being wound off the winding roller and simultaneously being pressed by the pressure roller so that all the air kept between the sheet and the glass plate is completely expelled. In addition, a suctorial operation encourages a closer adhesion of the sheet to the glass plate, whereby a document and a sensitive material placed between them can be sufficiently in close contact with each other.
