  • Patent number: 11255654
Abstract: Provided is a misalignment determining device having a size thereof in an axial direction being made short. The misalignment determining device includes a case, a dial gauge, a holder portion, a support portion, a pivotal portion, a lever member, and a slide member. The slide member is placed in contact with a stylus of the dial gauge. While the pivotal portion and the lever member are rotated in synchronism with rotation of the holder portion, a pivot amount of the pivotal portion is transmitted to the slide member via the lever member, and based on an amount of movement of the slide member along an axis direction, the dial gauge determines the pivot amount.

  • Publication number: 20120057946
Abstract: In order to prevent a cutting tool from being detached from the holding device towards a bladed part-side when holding a standard cutting tool in the holding apparatus, a focus was placed on a diameter of a shank of the standard cutting tool which is larger than that of a bladed part-side cylindrical portion. A pressing portion pushes a retaining ring along a slope in a tool inserting hole towards its base end side so that an outer periphery of the retaining ring shrinks and an inner diameter of the retaining ring becomes smaller than the diameter of the shank.

  • Patent number: 6851897
Abstract: The cutting tool insert 1 is in a substantially plate form and of polygonal shape and is provided with a major cutting edge 16A (or 16B) extending from one corner 14A (or 14B) toward the other corner 15A (or 15B). The major cutting edge 16A (or 16B) comprises a first edge line and a second edge line that meet to form an obtuse angle, which causes the area where the first and second edge lines meet to protrude slightly outwards, as viewed from above. The first edge line slopes down towards the second edge line so that the distance with a seat face 11 decreases gradually as viewed from the side, and the first edge line forms an obtuse angle with the second edge line causing the top face area to dip down towards the seat face. The first edge line is shorter than the second edge line.
