Abstract: A method for manufacturing a bullnose tile comprising the steps of providing a ceramic tile that comprises a base body made of a ceramic material, wherein the base body has a main surface and a bullnose edge; providing a decorative layer on top of the bullnose edge by printing a curable ink to form a décor; and curing the curable ink; wherein the curable ink, after printing, is in direct contact with the ceramic material of the base body.
Abstract: Disclosed herein are adhesive splitter systems and methods for using the same. The adhesive splitter systems comprise a multi-nozzle adapter configured to dispense multiple streams of adhesive onto a substrate. The splitter system can also include an attached adhesive dispenser for providing adhesive to the multi-nozzle adapter.
Abstract: A floor element for forming a floor covering is described herein, wherein the floor element includes a board having edges provided with coupling elements adapted to cooperate with coupling elements of an adjacent similar floor element in the floor covering. The coupling elements include at least one male part and at least one female part, the male part being positioned along a first edge and protruding outwardly beyond an upper edge at said first edge, and the female part being positioned along a second edge and extending inwardly beyond an upper edge at the second edge to form a recess for at least partially receiving the male part. The recess includes an inlet opening having a vertical breadth such that the ratio between the vertical breadth and the thickness of the board is more than 0.4.

Abstract: A floor element for forming a floor covering, wherein the floor element comprises a decorative layer made of a ceramic material and a support layer arranged below the decorative layer, wherein the support layer comprises edges provided with coupling elements configured to allow a mechanical coupling with coupling elements of an adjacent floor element and wherein the floor element comprises an intermediate layer having a resin material that permeates a lower surface of the decorative layer. A method for manufacturing a floor element, comprising the steps of: (i) providing a decorative layer made of a ceramic material; (II) providing a support layer; (iii) providing a resin material for bonding the decorative layer and the support layer together; (iv) pressing the layers together for forming the floor element such that the resin material permeates the ceramic layer.
Abstract: A floor element for forming a floor covering, the floor element comprising a decorative layer comprising a ceramic material, an intermediate layer comprising a resin material, and a support layer arranged below the decorative layer, wherein the support layer comprises edges provided with coupling elements configured to realize a mechanical coupling with coupling elements of an adjacent floor element and wherein the resin material comprises a modulus of elasticity greater than 0.1 GPa, preferably greater than 0.5 GPa, even more preferably greater than 1 GPa.
