    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a medical connector for enteral applications. The medical connector includes a body portion having a distal patient access fitting and a proximal fluid delivery device fitting as well as an administration port. The administration port for administrating or extracting fluids or medicine includes a cylindrical cavity, an administration port seal having a normally-closed slit, a plunger, a plunger sleeve, and a compression member. Engaging a non-luer female tip with the administration port actuates the compression member such that the plunger pierces the normally-closed slit, causing it to open allowing fluid communication with the body portion.

    Abstract: A pH indicator module is configured to attach on a proximal end to a suction mechanism and on a distal end to a proximal end of an aspiration tube. The pH indicator module comprises a barrel connector configured to attach to an aspiration tube, the barrel connector forming an inner passageway, the passageway being located in a direct flow path of the aspirated fluid when the pH indicator module is used. The barrel connector is configured to receive a pH indicator material placed in the passageway, the pH indicator material being configured to come into contact with a direct flow of the aspirated fluid drawn into the passageway to determine a pH value of the aspirated fluid. The pH indicator module also comprises a cap portion configured to attach on a proximal cap end to the suction mechanism and to attach on a distal cap end to the barrel connector.

    Abstract: A tube holder assembly is provided for securing a medical tube such as an endotracheal tube to a patient. In one illustrative embodiment, the holder assembly comprises a support strap for placement around the patient's head or neck region, a bracket for holding the endotracheal tube in position relative to the patient's mouth, and a face anchoring portion for securing the support strap to the patient's face region. The support strap includes a front surface and an opposed, back surface. The bracket may be attached to the front surface of the support strap. The bracket may include an upper bar and an arm extending from the upper bar. The face anchoring device may comprise a first surface configured to adhere to the patient's face region, and a second, opposed surface having a strap-engaging portion configured to mechanically engage the back surface of the support strap. The support strap may be configured to be repeatedly releasable and adjustable to the face anchoring device.

    Abstract: A medical conduit holder for releasably securing and reattaching a medical conduit, for example, a Foley catheter, to the limb of a patient. The holder includes a non-stretchable stabilizing member having a looped fabric surface, and attached to a stretchable primary strap to form an enclosed nonstretchable area of the primary strap. The primary strap is configured for attachment to the limb of the patient. The holder further includes a secondary strap attached to both the platform and the primary strap, preferably at the center of the secondary strap. The secondary strap has a first portion with a window, and an engagement portion dimensioned to loop around the conduit and fit through the window. In use, the engagement portion is looped over the medical conduit and through the window, such that the hooked surface of the engagement portion contacts the looped surface of the stabilizing member in order to secure the medical conduit.
