A head of the drain closure assembly is fastened to a top end of a stem, wherein a bottom end of the stem is insertable in a drain shoe; and a gasket is fastened around an outer cylinder of the stem below the head. The gasket comprises an upper outer portion and a lower outer portion that each meet at a line that defines a hinge at which the gasket is able to bend, wherein the lower outer portion features a sloped surface from a bottom edge of a rim of the gasket to the line at a top of the lower outer portion, wherein the upper outer portion has a right circular cylinder shape.

The side lever includes an unlock position and a lock position. The side lever includes a hook that engages the float and arm assembly to restrict movement of the float and arm assembly when in the lock position and allow movement of the float and arm assembly when in the unlock position.

The ramp includes a first end and a second end, and the second end having a greater height than the first end. The rim engagement slot engages a rim of a utility bucket. The rim engagement slot is formed between a front wall of the second end of the ramp and the back platform. The retractable tab extends from a back wall of the back platform. The retractable tab formed between two slots, and the retractable tab moves toward and away from the back wall for attaching and releasing the utility bucket.

An existing lever rod is selectively positionable to engage with one of the lever rod engagement locations that are disposed at varying heights on the stopper. Most preferably, there are six lever rod engagement locations, four aperture locations and two non-aperture locations. A seal disposed below a cap and around a body of the stopper comprises an enlarged annular ring near its outer edge to provide increased surface area for sealing a drain opening. The body of the stopper has a maximum width measured in cross section of 1.04 inches or less.
