Abstract: An exemplary embodiment, among others, of the present disclosure is directed to a drain closure assembly. A head of the drain closure assembly is fastened to a top end of a stem, wherein a bottom end of the stem is insertable in a drain shoe; and a gasket is fastened around an outer cylinder of the stem below the head. The gasket comprises an upper outer portion and a lower outer portion that each meet at a line that defines a hinge at which the gasket is able to bend, wherein the lower outer portion features a sloped surface from a bottom edge of a rim of the gasket to the line at a top of the lower outer portion, wherein the upper outer portion has a right circular cylinder shape.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments of a lockable toilet fill valve and methods according to the present invention. In one embodiment, a toilet fill valve includes a float and arm assembly. The toilet fill valve is closed when the float and arm assembly is disposed in a first position. The toilet fill valve is open when the float and arm assembly is disposed in a second position. A side lever is associated with the float and arm assembly. The side lever includes an unlock position and a lock position. The side lever includes a hook that engages the float and arm assembly to restrict movement of the float and arm assembly when in the lock position and allow movement of the float and arm assembly when in the unlock position.

Abstract: A pry bar assembly includes a plate that is elongated and has a first end, a second end, a first lateral edge, a second lateral edge, an upper surface and a lower surface. The plate includes a claw section, a chisel section and a middle section positioned therebetween. The claw section includes the first end and a rounded heel. The claw section includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is attached to the middle section and curves upwardly and away from the middle section in a semi-cylindrical shape to form the rounded heel. The second portion extends downwardly from the first portion. The chisel section is angled upwardly from the middle section. The upper surface has an elongated crest therein that is spaced from the first and second lateral edges and extends along a length of the middle section and into the chisel section.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for facilitating the installation of a toilet over a closet collar for a drain pipe. In one or more embodiments, a toilet seal assembly includes a seal ring, a component including a seal ring receptacle and a funnel, a sealing washer, and a plate. The seal ring can be configured to be positioned over a toilet closet collar. The seal ring receptacle can be configured to be positioned over the seal ring, and the funnel can be configured to be inserted into the toilet closet collar. The sealing washer can be configured to be positioned over the component having the seal ring and the funnel. The plate can be configured to be positioned over the sealing washer and under the toilet.

Abstract: A cleaning attachment for a utility bucket is disclosed. The cleaning attachment can be used to sweep debris into the utility bucket. In one non-limiting example, among others, the cleaning attachment includes a ramp, a back platform, a rim engagement slot, and a retractable tab. The ramp includes a first end and a second end, and the second end having a greater height than the first end. The rim engagement slot engages a rim of a utility bucket. The rim engagement slot is formed between a front wall of the second end of the ramp and the back platform. The retractable tab extends from a back wall of the back platform. The retractable tab formed between two slots, and the retractable tab moves toward and away from the back wall for attaching and releasing the utility bucket.

Abstract: An exemplary embodiment, among others, of the present disclosure is directed to a drain closure assembly. Such an assembly has a domed cap at a top portion of the drain closure assembly and a flange that is positioned below the domed cap. The assembly further includes a stem that extends from below the flange to a bottom portion of the drain closure assembly and a gasket seal that is positioned around the stem at a bottom of the drain closure assembly. The gasket seal has a frusto-conical shape, wherein a top portion of the gasket seal has a wider diameter than a bottom portion of the gasket seal, and the gasket seal has a central circular opening that fits closely around the stem.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments providing a mechanism to couple a tub spout onto a pipe. An extension nipple adaptor can be coupled to the pipe. A compression ring can be positioned between the extension nipple adaptor and an extension nipple. The tub spout can couple to the extension nipple. A threaded screw can be screwed into the extension nipple adaptor and contact the pipe.

Abstract: A pop up stopper comprising multiple aperture and at least one non-aperture lever rod engagement locations to allow use of the stopper as a replacement with different pre-existing actuating and drain systems when the existing stopper is broken, worn or needs to be replaced for aesthetic reasons. An existing lever rod is selectively positionable to engage with one of the lever rod engagement locations that are disposed at varying heights on the stopper. Most preferably, there are six lever rod engagement locations, four aperture locations and two non-aperture locations. A seal disposed below a cap and around a body of the stopper comprises an enlarged annular ring near its outer edge to provide increased surface area for sealing a drain opening. The body of the stopper has a maximum width measured in cross section of 1.04 inches or less.

Abstract: An exemplary embodiment, among others, of the present disclosure is directed to a drain closure assembly. Such an assembly has a head of the drain closure assembly that is fastened to a top end of a stem, wherein the bottom end of the stem is insertable in a drain shoe. The assembly further includes a gasket fastened around an outer cylinder of the stem below the head. Accordingly, the gasket comprises a series of concentric annular platforms such that a force applied to a top surface of the gasket causes an upper concentric annular platform having a smaller outer diameter to be compressed before the lower concentric annular platform having a larger outer diameter is compressed, thereby creating a seal between the head of the drain closure assembly and the drain shoe.

Abstract: A detachable faucet connector can be used with a faucet to allow easy connection of hoses to the faucet. The detachable faucet connector can include an aerator, a funnel, and a hose adapter. The aerator can connect to a faucet to replace the faucet's existing aerator. The funnel can be inserted in to the aerator prior to the installation of the aerator in the faucet. The hose adapter can be connected to the funnel. The hose adapter can be attached to a hose.

Abstract: In various embodiments, an apparatus includes a toilet horn receptacle having an upper end and a lower end. A sealing rim is positioned at an upper end of the toilet horn receptacle, and at least a portion of the sealing rim extends inwardly from the upper end of the toilet horn receptacle towards a center axis of the sealing rim. A funnel extends from the lower end of the toilet horn receptacle, and a channel wall circumscribes the toilet horn receptacle. The channel wall and at least the toilet horn receptacle form a continuous annular receptacle. A foam sealing component is disposed in the continuous annular receptacle such that an inner wall of the foam sealing component circumscribes the toilet horn receptacle and such that the channel wall circumscribes at least a portion of an outer wall of the foam sealing component.

According to various embodiments, a toilet seal assembly is positioned between the toilet and the closet collar, providing a seal between the toilet and the flange of the closet collar. The toilet seal assembly may include a flexible rubber seal and a compressible foam seal ring. The flexible rubber seal may include an annular wall, an upper ring that extends radially inward from the annular wall, and a lower ring that extends radially outward from the annular wall. The compressible foam seal ring may be disposed on the lower ring of the flexible rubber seal.

Abstract: A faucet handle comprising two valve stem cavities. A first valve stem cavity is different from second valve stem cavity in at least one characteristic of size, shape, or orientation to allow a single faucet handle to be used with different valve stems for different types of applications. A first valve stem cavity may be configured to receive a valve stem in a substantially vertical orientation as may be commonly used with a lavatory faucet application and a second valve stem cavity may be configured to receive a valve stem in an angled orientation as may be commonly used with a tub or shower faucet application. Any combination of differing characteristics may be used for the first and second valve cavities to accommodate different valve stem characteristics.

Abstract: Various embodiments for a drain debris straining assembly are described, where the drain debris straining assembly can be positioned inside a drain to collect hair and other debris. A drain debris straining assembly in accordance with an embodiment of the present application includes a basket assembly. The basket assembly includes a basket body surrounding a hollow core and at least one opening configured to filter fluid to entrap debris. The basket assembly further includes a flexible rib configured to compress against an internal diameter of a drain flange to form a seal between the basket assembly and the drain flange. The drain debris straining assembly may also include a pop-up assembly having an interference ridge sized and positioned to contact at least one inner wall of the basket assembly to retain a vertical position of the pop-up assembly relative to the basket assembly.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for determining piping configurations in an under-sink or similar environment. A computing device, such as a mobile device or a server, may be directed to access a digital image, such as a photograph of an under-sink environment. An analysis of the under-sink environment may be performed to generate a plurality of suggested configurations of piping for placement in the under-sink environment using compliance criteria. A selection of one of the suggested configurations may be received and a parts list for the one of the suggested configurations may be generated. A series of instructions to complete an assembly of the one of the suggested configurations may be generated.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments of a lockable toilet fill valve and methods according to the present invention. In one embodiment, a toilet fill valve includes a float/arm assembly. The toilet fill valve is closed when the float/arm assembly is disposed in a first position. The toilet fill valve being open when the float/arm assembly is disposed in a second position. A shuttle switch is associated with the float/arm assembly. The shuttle switch includes an unlock position and a lock position, wherein the shuttle switch fixes the float/arm assembly in the first position when the shuttle switch is in the lock position.
