At least one of the conductors is an elastically deformable conductor comprising a compliant core which is electrically conductive.     Abstract: A cooling system for a power module (or some other power electronics device) is described, the cooling system having a closed flow path for circulating a cooling fluid, the flow path having a pressure that is reduced to below atmospheric pressure. The cooling fluid is circulated along the flow path to provide cooling of the power module. The flow path is delimited from the exterior environment by a space provided between the flow path and the exterior environment, said space being sealed off from the cooling flow path, and said space being sealed off towards the exterior environment. The flow path has a pressure below atmospheric pressure and the space between the flow path and the exterior environment is evacuated and typically has a pressure lower than the pressure in the flow path.

    Abstract: If a hydraulic system has several modes of operation, in particular a mode with a high pressure demand (II) and a mode with a high fluid flow demand (II), the hydraulic fluid pump has to be built with an accordingly high fluid flow output. Such a pump is expensive. Therefore it is suggested, to provide two pumps. I.e. a controllable main pump (2) is provided, which supplies the hydraulic consumer (6) during phases (I) of high pressure demand. During phases (II) of high fluid flow demand, normally, relatively low pressures are sufficient. Therefore, it is suggested to provide a parallel boost pump (9), which supplies the hydraulic consumer (6) in addition to the high pressure pump (2), if a high fluid flow is needed. Excess fluid flow output is avoided by controlling the fluid output flow of main pump 2.

    Abstract: The invention provides a method and a system for controlling floor heating or climate regulating systems with long time constants. According to the invention, a flow of a fluid is provided through the floor or through a similar medium with large thermal inertia. An induced heat is determined by adding up a plurality of differences between an inlet temperature of the fluid when it enters the medium and an outlet temperature of the fluid when it leaves the medium. The temperatures are sampled with a fixed sampling time and within a fixed period of time, and a corresponding change in temperature of the medium over the fixed period of time is determined. In the future, the temperature of that medium is controlled by use of a ratio between the induced heat and the change in temperature.

    Abstract: The present invention discloses a fin of heat exchanger comprising a straight segment; a substantially-circular arc segment having a radius of R; and a substantially-circular arc transition segment connected between the straight segment and the substantially-circular arc segment and having a radius of r, wherein R>r. According to the present invention, after being assembled and welded to the heat exchanger, the substantially-circular arc segment is relatively easy to deform, and the shapes of the straight segment and substantially-circular arc transition segment are substantially unchanged. Therefore, the deformation of the fin is regular and easy to control. The arranging density of the fin in the heat exchanger is uniform, and the shape of the fin can meet the design requirements. In addition, the shape stability and the heat transfer coefficient of the fin are high.

    Abstract: The invention provides a steering system for a vehicle, a ship etc. The steering system has a steering handle for the operator of the vehicle, a set of signal processors, a sensor which determines a position of the steered element of the vehicle, and a controller which moves the steered element. The steered element could e.g. be the front wheels of a car. The signal processors are adapted to determine an error between the desired position of the steered element and an actual position of the steered element. In order to make the steering system more fault tolerant, the error signal is amplified based on the speed by which the steering handle is moved, and an error in the sensor therefore becomes less critical. The invention further provides a steering method, a steering control unit and a vehicle provided with a steering system of the mentioned kind.
