  • Publication number: 20110308882
Abstract: There is provided a circulation line (39) for circulating pressurized oil from an accumulator (11) into a housing (15) of a steering valve (14). An orifice joint (41) is provided along the path of the circulation line (39). The orifice joint (41) is removably mounted on the housing (15) of the steering valve (14) from outside. An orifice portion (42) of the orifice joint (41) applies a throttling function to the circulating oil liquid whereby a frictional heat is generated therein. The oil liquid in a warm state flows through a communication passage (21), passages in a spool valve (16), and a low pressure side passage (18B), thus enabling the steering valve (14) to be always in a warm state.

  • Publication number: 20110309277
Abstract: The invention provides a valve comprising a tube for guiding movement of a plunger, a solenoid which can be arranged about the tube, and a yoke which can be positioned in an operational position relative to the tube and relative to the solenoid so that it provides a magnetic path between the solenoid and portions of the tube. The yoke engages the tube and thereby prevents removal of the solenoid from tube. The invention thereby provides a very simple valve design with a low amount of components. The invention further provides a method of making a valve including fixing a solenoid to a tube by use of a yoke which engages the tube.

  • Publication number: 20110313588
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a system to reduce losses of energy due to ripples, especially at the power grid, the ripples being short term power shortages or excess power. The method is based on the idea of shutting off energy consuming devices during a period of power shortage, if their operation is not necessary, and optionally to turn on such energy consuming devices during periods of excess power, if energy may be stored in them, especially when energy may be stored as some physical parameter or variable, being a part of the operation of the energy consuming devices, such as the temperature of a freezer.

  • Publication number: 20110308621
Abstract: The invention provides a servo valve with a main piston and a servo piston. The servo piston controls a pressure in a servo chamber and thereby controls movement of the main piston based on a pressure difference between two chambers of the valve. To facilitate opening of the valve by relatively small pressures even in high pressure systems, the servo chamber according to the invention is provided inside the armature.

  • Patent number: 8080888
Abstract: A hydraulic generator drive system. The drive system has a control system that utilizes a first loop control that receives a signal associated with hydraulic pump or motor output and sends a command signal to a pump controller in order to control the hydraulic pump. Simultaneously, the control system has a second loop control that receives an input signal from the generator and sends a command signal to an armature to actuate the generator. As a result, a single control system is provided to control the speed and voltage output of the generator.

  • Patent number: 8079439
Abstract: The invention concerns a hydraulic steering with a steering initiator, a steering unit with feedback properties, which can be activated by the steering initiator, the steering unit having a supply connection arrangement with a pressure connection (P) and a tank connection (T) and a working connection arrangement with two working connections (L, R), an auxiliary-force operated steering valve, which is located in parallel with the steering unit between the supply connection arrangement (P, T) and the working connection arrangement (L, R), and a feedback suppressing device, which is active, when the steering valve is active. It is endeavored to find a simple manner of ensuring the priority of the steering initiator over the steering valve. For this purpose, the steering initiator interacts with an activation sensor, which deactivates the feedback suppressing device on an activation of the steering initiator.

  • Patent number: 8075290
Abstract: Compressor has a fixed scroll and a scroll movable in an orbit relative to the fixed scroll. The fixed and movable scrolls are equipped with a spiral wrap that engage each other and delimit variable-volume compression chambers. The spiral wrap of the movable scroll has a stepped portion extending over at least a portion of its length. At least one of the scrolls defines a passage for communication, during orbital movement of the movable scroll, between two compression chambers, with the ends of the passage terminating respectively on either side of the outer and inner walls of the spiral wrap of the scroll with the passage or inside the outer and inner walls of the spiral wrap of the scroll with the passage. The passage has a check valve for allowing fluid to flow only from the outer wall of the spiral wrap of the scroll with the passage to the inner wall.

  • Publication number: 20110289948
Abstract: A method of analysing a refrigeration system (1) comprising at least one compressor (4), at least one condenser (5) and at least two refrigeration entities (2), each comprising at least one evaporator (9). Based on information relating to the gas production by the evaporators (9) it is determined whether or not two or more evaporators (9) are running in a synchronized manner, i.e. are switching between an active and an inactive state at least substantially simultaneously. In case two or more evaporators (9) are running in a synchronized manner, the refrigeration system (1) may be controlled in order to desynchronize the evaporators (9). This may, e.g., be done by changing a cut-in temperature and/or a cut-out temperature for one of the corresponding refrigeration entities (2). Synchronization causes undesired variations in the suction pressure, and preventing synchronization therefore results in a more appropriate control of the refrigeration system (1). Reduces wear on the compressors (4).
