    Abstract: A process for controlling a refrigeration system, as well as the refrigeration system and a new expansion valve for the refrigeration system. An electronic regulator is used to operate a sensor system having a device for applying heat power to the sensor system in direct dependence on sensed superheat of the refrigerant leaving the evaporator. By locating the sensing system in communication with liquid refrigerant upstream of the evaporator, heat transfer to the liquid refrigerant is utilized for operation of the sensor system rather than heat transfer to the superheat, resulting in a far more stable and efficient refrigeration control.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to the measuring of phase currents in an inverter, where by pulse width modulation controlled semiconductor switches invert a direct voltage from an intermediate circuit into a three-phase alternating voltage. The phase currents are measured by measuring the intermediate circuit current when an active switch state creates an unambiguous relation between the intermediate circuit current and a phase current. Time shifts in the phase current measuring can be avoided by measuring the value i.sub.d of the intermediate circuit current in two separate settings (u.sub.1, u.sub.1, u.sub.6, u.sub.6) of the same active switch state (u.sub.1, u.sub.6) in a modulation period (T.sub.sw) and by creating a resulting means value of the measured values. The mean values can be related in time to the center of the modulation period, and the third phase current at the same time can be calculated, because the sum of the phase currents is equal to zero.

    Abstract: A refrigerant compressor is disclosed, having an electric motor, the stator of which has windings with winding heads and the rotor of which drives a compressor which comprises a compressor lock having an axially projecting bearing part for a rotor shaft, one winding head extending in the direction of the compressor block and electrical insulation being provided between the winding head and the compressor block. With the same overall size, it is desirable to be able to improve the efficiency of such a refrigerant compressor without markedly increasing the effort involved in assembly. To that end, the insulation is formed by a film which is pushed with a substantially centrally arranged opening onto the bearing part.

    Abstract: There is disclosed a method and system for improving the user interface between operator and motor controller, in particular a frequency converter. According to the invention, instead of presenting all information on a display at one time, a method of programming the motor controller is suggested, in which the operator is guided through the set up procedure, so that only relevant parameters are displayed on the different views. Another aspect of the invention is a method of programming a motor controller not in terms of parameter and parameter numbers, but in physical, technical and process terms. In this way, a high level mode of programming a motor controller is achieved, because the user interface does not deal with the less interesting motor controller specific parameters, but instead allows the operator to program the unit in terms he uses.

    Abstract: A hydraulic control system for work vehicles including a control unit to control the steering wheels of a vehicle via a cylinder and a priority valve which by a first load-sensing system controls the pressure fluid flow to the control unit and to a subsequent proportional valve group. By a second load-sensing system the proportional valve group controls the pressure fluid flow to secondary hydraulic motors or work cylinders to control the work tools of the vehicle. The control system also includes an open-centre valve connection and a fixed displacement pump. The first load-sensing system is connected with a second load-sensing system, whereby drop-off of the pressure fluid flow to the control unit is avoided at simultaneous operation of the latter and of one or several of the proportional valves as is the case with known control systems. Hereby a control system is provided which is particularly agreeable to operate for the driver of the work vehicle.

In order to provide a sampling means, which has a short reaction time and makes use of small amounts of the medium to be measured and is easy to manufacture, the mouths of the inlet passage and of the discharge passage, which opens to the membrane, are interconnected by means of at least one groove, which is open towards the membrane. The groove is formed in a surface layer, which is attached between the membrane and the membrane carrier or is manufactured on the surface of the membrane carrier. The open side of the groove is closed by the membrane such that the membrane adheres to the surface layer or to the surface of the carrier facing the membrane.

    Abstract: In a valve, in particular an expansion valve for refrigeration systems, at least the housing (2) and all nozzles (3, 4, 5) are deep-drawn parts of stainless steel having a carbon content of less than 0.05%. These parts are joined to one another by soldering. The steel has such a low content of carbon that despite being subjected to the effects of heat during soldering, it is practically insensitive to intercrystalline corrosion. This produces a visually attractive valve that is not harmful to the environment.
