Abstract: The present invention provides a bacteriocin having a molecular weight of about 4.4 kDa and methods involving the use of this bacteriocin. The bacteriocin preferably has an amino acid sequence as shown in SEQ ID NO:5 (FIG. 3). The present invention also provides a DNA molecule encoding this bacteriocin.

Abstract: A solid, water dispersible, storage-stable trifluralin formulation comprises trifluralin supported inside porous, finely divided carrier particles, optionally together with at least one compatible wetting agent and/or dispersant additive, wherein the trifluralin is in the orange polymorphic form and the particles of the formulation are size-stable.

The variety is distinguished by its good fruit appearance when picked for fresh fruit sales and by its distinctly rugose leaves.
