    Abstract: An uncrewed aerial vehicle (UAV) configured and operable for controllable flight, including autonomous flight. A generally planar body defining opposing front and back planar surfaces includes a plurality of circular duct openings provided in the planar body extending between the opposing front and back surfaces. A plurality of rotor guard assemblies are provided wherein each respective rotor guard assembly is configured for detachable engagement with a respective duct opening. A rotor is respectively rotatably mounted in each respective duct opening of the plurality of duct openings whereby each rotor is configured for providing propulsion of the UAV planar body. An electronic controller is operatively coupled to each rotor for controlling rotation of each rotor wherein the electronic controller is configured to enable flight of the UAV via a single hand-throw from a user operator of the UAV.

    Abstract: A modular drone containment system including a plurality of modular stacked drone containers. Each modular drone container is configured to house a drone device and be removably disposed in a stacked orientation relative to one another. Each modular container includes a sidewall having a continuous upstanding wall defining a containment space configured to house a respective drone device. A topmost modular container in the stacked orientation further includes a top cover pivotally attached to a top portion of its sidewall. A bottommost modular container in the stacked orientation includes a bottom wall attached to a bottom portion of its sidewall. Further included is a charging system configured to simultaneously charge a battery provided in each drone housed in a stacked modular container.

    Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method for operating one or more uncrewed vehicles (UxSs) in autonomous navigation modes. A software module is provided and executed for operation in a portable user computer device for enabling control and operation of the one or more UxS devices. The software module is configured for enabling the portable user computer device to communicate with one or more external communication devices regarding operation and control of the one or more UxSs. The software module communicatively couples the portable user computer device to the one or more UxSs via a transceiver component provided in the portable user computer device, wherein the software module enables voice commands received from a user at the portable user computer device to control one or more navigation functionalities for the one or more UxSs via the transceiver component.
