Abstract: The handle of the kitchen utensil is rearwardly tapering with a generally oval transverse cross-section progressively smaller toward the rear of the handle. The forward end of the handle incorporates a forwardly opening chamber which receives the mounting portion of an implement in seating relation therein, the implement having opposed spring-loaded protuberances engaged through apertures in the chamber wall and retracted only by external manual pressure thereagainst.

Abstract: The decorating bag, when empty and flattened into a generally triangular shape, has the lower discharge portion thereof folded to overlie the upper filling portion thereof with the extended corner sections of the filling portion folded to overlie the folded lower portion and engage each other with releasable fasteners to secure the bag in a folded and stored configuration.
Abstract: A salad spinner having a base which receives a basket for rotation therein. A cover mounts to the base and includes a drive plate with engages the basket to drive same. The basket includes an upper edge spaced closely to the base for stability. The basket further includes one or more access depressions permitting a user to insert a finger between the basket and base. The drive plate includes one or more drive projections which abut against the access depressions, permitting these access depressions to also be used as a portion of the drive train. The cover may be inverted to an inoperative position for reduced storage space, and a storage cap may be secured to the base to store the salad spinner, of simply the contents of the base, free from contamination.

Abstract: A carrying case for small items including a removable tray received between and generally coextensive with an elongate base and a cover integrally hinged thereto, the tray including a peripheral flange member received between the overlying base and cover with the interior of the tray divided into three compartments, one of which includes a pivotally mounted lid. A partition dividing the two remaining compartments extends through the top panel of the closed cover and provides a release extension for facilitating removal of the tray from the cover.
