Abstract: A microwave pressure cooker including safety interlock mechanisms. A blow vent is provided in cooker lid, and a lock bar is pivoted to cooker lid in a position to block blow vent when lock bar is resting under its own weight. Free end of lock bar includes a lock tab. Lock tab extends through slot at periphery of lid. Cooker base includes handle with a cam section ending in a lock wall. Cooker lid is placed on base in a release position and rotated to a locking position. During this rotation lock tab rides over cam section and then falls adjacent lock wall, thus sealing blow vent. After cooking cover is physically prevented from rotating back to release position by lock tab abutting lock wall. User must physically lift lock bar to unseal blow vent to ensure internal pressure is released. A spline may hold lock bar in raised position.

Abstract: A container providing improved features. The container prevents uncontrolled dripping of a liquid and directs a liquid drop present on a cap which closes the spout back into the container when the cap is open. The container includes a series of measuring indicators on the base for measuring a volume of material, such as a liquid. Also, the cover includes a further series of inverted measuring indicators for measuring a volume of material. The invention likewise includes a measuring device for measuring two or more liquids or dry ingredients such as by providing volume measuring indicators on a cover for a container as well as on the container. The measuring device may be a single measuring device which measures two or more liquids or dry materials, and may be configured for mixing the measured materials together in the same measuring device.

Abstract: A multi flow multi venting nipple includes a teat having a flow aperture which allows for at least two different flow rates depending upon the operative radial orientation of the nipple. The nipple further includes a number of vent apertures, equal to the number of flow rates, formed by check valves extending through the nipple to reduce negative pressure during use. Each vent aperture is associated with a particular flow rate, and is radially oriented to be uppermost and vertically above the flow aperture during use at such flow rate. All vent apertures will be operable at once. The nipple further includes safety walls extending from the nipple and surrounding at least half the periphery of each check valve forming the vent apertures. The safety wall prevents unintentional and rough contact from damaging the check valves.
Abstract: Nesting measuring cups include a first measuring cup having a measuring portion for measuring a first volume, a first handle provided on first measuring portion, and measuring cup includes upper and lower faces. A first pour spout on first measuring portion has two spaced apart end walls defining pour spout. A second measuring cup has a second measuring portion for measuring a second volume and a second handle. Second measuring volume is smaller than first measuring volume and nests inside it. A second pour spout is on second measuring portion, and a post is provided adjacent lower face of second measuring portion. Post is engageable with a stop on upper face of first measuring portion, so user may rotate second measuring cup relative to first measuring cup until post engages stop, stops rotation of first and second measuring cups relative to each other, and achieves fixed fanned out position.
