Patent number: 11897353Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed configured to charge an electrical vehicle. The systems include a pallet sized to support and transport one or more vehicles. The pallet has a retractable charging cable housed on an underside of the pallet and extendable through an opening on a top surface of the pallet to couple a plug of the charging cable to a receptacle in an electric vehicle supported by the pallet. The pallet includes a cable retraction mechanism that maintains the charging cable under tension when the cable is in the extended position and protrudes from the top surface of the pallet or in the retracted position where the charging cable is housed on the underside of the pallet. The pallet can be used in mechanical parking systems, such as puzzle parking systems and stacker parking systems.Type: GrantFiled: August 18, 2023Date of Patent: February 13, 2024Assignee: Dasher Lawless Technologies, LLCInventor: Christopher Alan

Patent number: 11772510Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed configured to charge an electrical vehicle. A charge request is received for a first electrical vehicle parked at a first parking spot. A battery charging device is connected to a first head unit comprising a first charging cable located in proximity to the first parking spot. A charge request is received for a second electrical vehicle parked at a second parking spot. A determination is made as whether the first electrical vehicle is no longer being charged, and in response to determining that the first electrical vehicle is no longer being charged, the battery charging device is disconnected from the first head unit and is connected to a second head unit comprising a second charging cable located in proximity to the second parking spot.Type: GrantFiled: February 6, 2023Date of Patent: October 3, 2023Assignee: Dasher Lawless Technologies, LLCInventor: Christopher Alan

Patent number: 11279252Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed configured to automatically transport electric vehicles to charging stations and to charge the electric vehicles. A first vehicle is identified as an electric vehicle. The first vehicle is caused to be navigated to a transportable pallet having a charging cable coupled thereto. A determination is made that a charging station is available to receive the first vehicle. The pallet, with the first vehicle thereon, is transported to the available charging station. The charging cable, coupled to the pallet, is connected to a charging device and the first vehicle is charged. At least partly in response to detecting that the first vehicle has completed charging, the pallet is automatically conveyed, with the first vehicle positioned thereon, to a parking area. The first vehicle is conveyed to a parking location within the parking area.Type: GrantFiled: April 22, 2021Date of Patent: March 22, 2022Assignee: Dasher Lawless Technologies, LLCInventor: Christopher Alan
