  • Patent number: 12386812
Abstract: A method for managing lost content change requests (CCRs), the method includes (i) maintaining, by compute entities of a second storage system (SSS), states of executions of multiple CCRs of multiple categories and of multiple SSS reception times; (ii) receiving, from a first storage system (FSS), at a failure indication reception time (FIRT), a failure indication that is indicative of a certain category of the multiple categories. The certain category is associated with a failure of the FSS to receive a response, from the SSS, to a certain CCR of the certain category, that was presumably sent from the FSS to the SSS; (iii) determining, based on states of executions that are related at least to the certain category, when the SSS has completed to execute all CCRs of at least the certain category that were received by the SSS up to the FIRT; and (iv) transmitting, by the SSS, a SSS completion indication that indicates that the SSS has completed to execute all tasks that were received by the SSS up to the FIRT.

  • Publication number: 20250252523
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for decoding watermarks in video frames. A media device may receive a video frame that includes a first predetermined region comprising a watermark and a second predetermined region having pixel values selected to reduce the perceptibility of the first predetermined region. The media device may detect the watermark in the first predetermined region of the video frame and identify one or more contiguous subsets of pixels that correspond to a first pixel value and one or more contiguous subsets of pixels that correspond to a second pixel value. The media device then assigns a first symbol to the one or more contiguous subsets of pixels that correspond to the first pixel value and second symbol the one or more contiguous subsets of pixels that correspond to the second pixel value. The media device then generates a first sequence of symbols from the assigned symbols.

  • Patent number: 12380089
Abstract: Provided are methods, devices, and computer-program products for determining an accuracy score for a device mapping system. In some examples, the accuracy score can be based on a device map of the device mapping system and viewing data from an automated content recognition component. In such examples, the accuracy score can indicate whether the device mapping system is assigning similar categories to devices that have similar player of media content. In some examples, a device map can be determined to be random, indicating that the device mapping system is inaccurate. In contrast, if the device map is determined to have a sufficiently low probability of being merely random in nature, the device mapping system can be determined to be accurate.

  • Patent number: 12380153
Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying a media segment of audio or video content are described. The video segment is identified by deriving data from media content and comparing said data to a reference database in order to identify said video segment. Embodiments of the invention improve the speed and accuracy of the media identification process by advantageously partitioning the indexes in subdivisions where high value reference information is separated from the bulk information, for example.

  • Patent number: 12381748
Abstract: An autonomous distributed wise area network (AD-WAN) includes several nodes, where each node connects a local area network to an open wide area network, and provides tunnels over the open wide area network to other nodes in the AD-WAN so that computing resources behind each node can communicate as if they were located on a common intranet. Each node has a blockchain wallet and receives updates to a private permissioned blockchain ledger for that AD-WAN. The updates are provided by a control node. Set up, and subsequent change to the AD-WAN are commenced via a customer portal which provides order information to the control node, where the control node processes the order information and generates a blockchain update that informs the affected nodes in the AD-WAN as to what changes are to be made. As a result, the blockchain provides both control plane and order management operation of the AD-WAN.

  • Patent number: 12375582
Abstract: A method for fetching a content from a web server to a client device is disclosed, using tunnel devices serving as intermediate devices. The client device accesses an acceleration server to receive a list of available tunnel devices. The requested content is partitioned into slices, and the client device sends a request for the slices to the available tunnel devices. The tunnel devices in turn fetch the slices from the data server, and send the slices to the client device, where the content is reconstructed from the received slices. A client device may also serve as a tunnel device, serving as an intermediate device to other client devices. Similarly, a tunnel device may also serve as a client device for fetching content from a data server. The selection of tunnel devices to be used by a client device may be in the acceleration server, in the client device, or in both.
