    Abstract: The method for power control in HSDPA includes Step A, the UE with the highest priority and having data to be transmitted is selected according to the algorithm, the channel resource is distributed to the UE, and the original power level is set. Step B, the transmission power is deduced when the channel quality meets the condition; Otherwise the CQI is checked, if the value of CQI is under the highest rate level, or the data is the re-transmitting data, the transmission power is increased, or the power is kept the same level. Step C, channel resource and the UE with the highest priority are checked, if there exist, then go to step B, otherwise the method is ended. So the redundant power can be used when several UEs are controlled at the same time, the efficiency and the throughput performance are improved, and the interface is reduced. The device for power controlling is given at the same time.
