  • Patent number: 7173824
Abstract: This power switching device comprises semiconductor members (60) having drain, gate and source connections. Said members (60) are soldered by their drain soles to protuberances of an electrically conductive cooling plate (20), while the gates and the sources (62, 63) of the semiconductor members (60) are connected to a control circuit and to power connectors via a routing circuit (40) placed generally parallel to and in the vicinity of said plate (20) but separated therefrom by a spacer (30) and having openings (42) corresponding to the flat protuberances of the subjacent plate (20), which protuberances lie in a plane close to the routing circuit (40), by means of which the semiconductor devices (60) may be connected to the plate (20) and to the routing circuit (40) substantially in the same plane.

  • Patent number: 7151236
Abstract: A switching device intended for assembly on an electric printed circuit mounting plate includes contacts to be electrically connected when a switching operation is performed. The switching device includes a switch component associated with an actuator, which allows for an electrical connection to be established between said contacts when it is deflected under pressure transmitted by the actuator. The switching device also includes a base plate equipped with holding means for holding the switch component prior to the assembly of the switching device on the mounting plate, the switch component being disengaged from the holding means when the device is assembled on the mounting plate.

  • Publication number: 20050259382
Abstract: The switching device (40) is intended for assembly on an electric circuit mounting plate (16) that comprises contacts (8, 10) to be electrically connected when a switching operation is performed. It includes a switch component, for example a dome (4), associated with an actuator (2), allowing the electrical connection to be established between the said contacts when it is deflected under pressure transmitted by the actuator. The device additionally includes a base plate (46) equipped with holding means (50a) for holding the switch component (4) prior to assembling the device on the mounting plate (16), the switch component being disengaged from these holding means when the device is assembled on the mounting plate. The switch component (4) is able to be supported only by the mounting plate (16) when the device is assembled on it, the base plate (46) then providing only a guidance function in respect of the switch component.

  • Patent number: 5373278
Abstract: Blade type plug-in fuse for high nominal currents. It is of the type comprising a case (1) in which is partially housed a conductive unit (5, 6, 9, 10) provided with two flat connection terminal blades (5, 6) whose free ends (7) are situated outside the case, said connection terminal blades being connected inside the case by a flat fuse link part (8) on at least one side and substantially in the center of which is deposited a drop of metal (13) of predetermined area of contact, and it is characterized in that the fuse link part comprises a central gauging zone (9) of width (l.sub.1) smaller than the width (l.sub.2) of the adjacent lateral zones (21) connecting with the connection terminal blades, the area of contact (31) of said drop (13) being at least greater than half the area of the gauging zone (9).

  • Patent number: 4816961
Abstract: The switch comprises, incorporated in its casing (2), an upper circuit board (16) which carries a control electronic circuit (18) and a lower circuit board (24) which carries power components, such as relays (26), for the feed power supply of the apparatus to be controlled. Both superposed boards (16, 24) are linked together, mechanically and electrically, by linking pillars (40). Application to the automatic control of a window lifting device or to the delay control of window heating device on cars.

  • Patent number: 4801913
Abstract: Disclosed is a bi-metallic strip connected to one electrical contact tab and holding a contact which works together with a fixed contact carried by another electrical contact tab. The mobile contact and the connection of the other tab with the bi-metallic actuator are diametrically opposed along a diameter that is inclined with respect to the median plane where the plane passes through the center of the bi-metallic actuator and between the coplanar connecting tabs.

  • Patent number: 3950688
Abstract: A portable auxiliary current source characterized by an overall configuration such that it is stable only in two positions, one of which is the desired operative position and the other of which is a position in which the source controls are inaccessible so that the source cannot be operated. The casing is prismatic in shape, characterized by a plurality of obtusely angled edges. In cross section, it is hexagonal with the base and the top wider than the other surfaces; and the center of gravity is very near the base so that the casing tends to tip toward one of those two positions but prefers the operative position. The casing rests in a cradle that provides handles for moving the source and that is also shaped so as to tip the source toward one of those two positions.
