Abstract: A fastener for coupling together parts with a curved surface has a male member and a female member. The male element has an overall I-shape with a head portion, neck portion and a body portion. The body portion is adapted to be coupled with one of the curved part. The head portion includes an ear on each side. A first surface on the male member is arcuate along the body, neck and head portions. The female member includes a pocket with a pair of deflectable projections. The projections extend from opposing walls toward one another. The projections engage the male member along the neck portion between the head portion and body portion to retain the male member with the female member.
Abstract: A finger hole insert for a bowling ball which is formed of a resilient tubular body and is adapted to be inserted into a finger hole. The insert has an oblong cylindrical inner wall surface defining finger openings at opposite terminal ends of the insert which are sized to permit insertion of a bowler's finger therein. The finger openings have thickened parallel planar finger pads therein adapted for cushioning the bowler's finger. The finger openings also have opposed arcuate finger pads for augmenting the spin and lift applied during delivery of the bowling ball. In this manner, the bowler has a preferential choice between the two functions provided by each finger opening of the insert.
Abstract: A finger hole insert for a bowling ball which is formed of a resilient tubular body and is adapted to be inserted into a finger hole. The insert has a generally cylindrical inner wall surface defining first and second finger openings at opposite terminal ends of the insert which are sized to permit insertion of a bowler's finger therein. The first finger opening has a thickened finger pad therein adapted for cushioning the bowler's finger. The second finger opening has a plurality of ribs extending in longitudinal spaced relationship around its inner periphery adapted to augment the spin and lift applied during delivery of the bowling ball. In this manner, the bowler's has a preferential choice between the function provided by each finger opening of the insert.
