  • Publication number: 20240090629
Abstract: A slider clasp for a jewelry chain includes a body and a resilient unitary bushing coupled inside the body. The body defines two guide channels configured to receive corresponding portions of the chain through the body during sliding movement between the end portions and the body. The bushing defines two tubular passageways and is disposed within the body between the two guide channels. The bushing has an uncompressed configuration when the chain does not extend within the body and tubular passageways, and a compressed configuration when the chain extends through the tubular passageways causing resulting interference between the bushing member and the end portions of the chain. The compression exerted on the end portions is sufficient to stop relative sliding movement between the end portions of the chain and the body when the force exerted on the end portions is lower than the static frictional force therebetween.

  • Patent number: 11857038
Abstract: A piece of jewelry includes a hinge assembly that always biases two rigid portions to rotate relative to each other toward a closed secure position. The jewelry includes a leaf spring that biases a spring housing to rotate and thereby in turn rotate the two rigid portions relative to each other. The jewelry includes a pin in slot system which limits movement of the hinge to maximum predetermine opening angle.

  • Patent number: 11160336
Abstract: A flexible jewelry cable includes a plurality of helical links. Each link has a body that extends helically about a central axis of the link. Each link includes a protrusion extending from an inner surface of the body at or near ends of the body. Each protrusion defines a through hole that is coaxially aligned with the body. The body defines a female recess on the inner surface of the body, each recess corresponding to one protrusion. The recesses are at or near the ends of the body. One recess of a first one of the links is configured to receive one protrusion of a second one of the links and align the hole of the received protrusion with the hole of one protrusion of the first link. The cable includes a string extending through the aligned holes of the protrusions of the links.
