Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method of treating a dermatological condition or preventing a dermatological condition from occurring or for altering the pigmentation of the skin by administering to a patient a pharmaceutically effective amount of a composition comprising at least one Vitamin E component and at least one additional component different from the Vitamin E component that has anti-tyrosinase activity and/or anti-melanogenesis activity. The present invention is further directed to a pharmaceutical composition comprising at least one Vitamin E component and at least one additional component different from the Vitamin E component that has anti-tyrosinase activity and/or anti-melanogenesis activity.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a method of preventing cancer or preventing the recurrence of cancer after undergoing a cancer treatment by administering a composition comprising at least one of ?-tocotrienol or ?-tocotrienol, wherein the cancer is selected from the group consisting of melanoma, prostate cancer, prostate intraepithelial neoplasia, colon cancer, liver cancer, bladder cancer, breast cancer and lung cancer. The present invention is further directed to a composition comprising at least one of ?-tocotrienol or ?-tocotrienol and Docetaxel and/or Dacarbazine, and to a method of inhibiting or arresting or reversing of cancer by administering a composition comprising at least one of ?-tocotrienol or ?-tocotrienol together with Docetaxel and/or Dacarbazine. The present invention is also directed to methods of manufacturing those compositions.
