Abstract: The tensioning device comprises a support plate attached to a pivot defining a fixed axis; an intermediate tubular element accommodating the pivot and able to rotate about the fixed axis; a pulley for a belt and supported by the tubular element, surrounding the pivot and able to rotate about an axis of rotation which is not coincident with the fixed axis; and an elastic element interposed between the pivot and the intermediate tubular element so as to urge elastically the intermediate tubular element against the belt. To ensure a high degree of perpendicularity between the pivot and the support plate and, therefore, accurate engagement between the tensioning device and the belt, the support plate and the pivot are integrally formed.

Abstract: Stretcher for a transmission belt comprising a fixed part suitable for being rigidly connected to a support structure and provided with a pin defining a first axis, a movable part comprising a hub rotating on the pin about the first axis, a pulley carried by the movable part and rotating with respect thereto about a second axis distinct from the first axis and parallel thereto, and a spiral spring interposed between the fixed part and the movable part and suitable for loading in use the movable part in the direction tending to keep the pulley in engagement with the relative belt. The spring has an internal end secured to the pin, and an external end secured to the hub, and is interposed between two bushes which support the hub on the fixed part and are provided with respective flanges cooperating axially with the spring.

Abstract: A hydraulic power steering system for a vehicle comprising a hydraulic fluid displacement pump, operated by a thermal engine of the vehicle and provided with a suction port and a delivery port, a reservoir for collecting said fluid, connected to suction port, a double-acting hydraulic cylinder, capable of controlling direction of front wheels of the vehicle, and a distribution unit fitted with an inlet port, connected to delivery port, a vent port, connected to reservoir and two service ports, connected to respective chambers of hydraulic cylinder; distribution unit comprising a first and a second distributor, respectively controlled by hydraulic cylinder and by a steering wheel of the vehicle and movable with respect to each other; pump being of the variable displacement type and system further comprising a flow request sensor from and to chambers of cylinder and a device for adjusting displacement of pump, controlled by sensor.

Abstract: A fluid supply conduit for attenuating pressure pulses in a fluid. At least one inner tube is disposed in an outer tube and forms an annular chamber therewith. The inner tube is connected to a fitting that is fitted in a sealed manner to the outer tube. The closing element closes off an end of the inner tube, which has at least one intermediate hole at predetermined distances from respective reflecting surfaces defined by the fitting and by the closing element.

Abstract: A device for protecting bearings of idle pulleys in belt drives includes a cover 22 having a circumferential connecting portion 23 operatively engageable with a terminal edge 13a of a fastening collar 13 positioned on the pulley and housing the bearing 18 inside. Elastic tongues 26 projecting from the cover 22 are provided at their ends with corresponding hooking teeth 24 able to engage into corresponding through engaging openings 25 in a disc-shaped flange 14, which interconnects the fastening collar 13 with a cylindrical rolling portion 13 of the pulley. The tongues 26 are elastically deformable by virtue of centrifugal force so that the interference between the hooking teeth 24 and the interconnecting flange 14 is increased by increasing the rotation speed of the pulley 2.
