Abstract: Apparatus for exercising the muscles around the cervical spine and/or the motional pattern of the cervical spine with a rotation exercise movement of the head, said apparatus comprising an equipment frame (1), a turning arbor (2) mounted on the equipment frame with bearings permitting rotation of the arbor about a vertical axis, a head rest element (3) for holding the head, said head rest element being connected to the turning arbor (2) and comprising means for holding the head of the person performing the exercise movement substantially immobile in the head rest element.
