Patents Assigned to DBT Deutsche Bergbau-Technik GmbH
  • Patent number: 5658085
Abstract: Toggle securing device for toggle joints of conveyor pans for chain conveyors, guide pans of winning machinery guides and the like with a securing plate which secures the toggle in its receiving pocket, laterally overlaps it at the end, can be introduced from the side into a respective insertion pocket by its two ends and can be caught in one of the two superimposed insertion pockets by a plastic pin which passes through a receiving hole in one end region of the securing plate and penetrates a locking orifice in the associated insertion pocket. In order to provide a securing plate for toggle joints, which can be used for toggle joints of known designs, either using a fixing sleeve or using a plastic pin as a securing element, the securing plate has a drive-in hole for a fixing sleeve at its other end region and is designed in such a way that it can be caught on the locking orifice of the insertion pocket either by means of the plastic pin or by means of the fixing sleeve after being rotated through 180.

  • Patent number: 5601341
Abstract: A drive gear and guide arrangement for a mining machine such as a disk shearer which operates above a chain scraper conveyor. The guide arrangement includes a guide rail arranged on a trough section of the chain scraper conveyor and extends along side of the chain scraper conveyor forming a chain duct for a drive gear chain which moves the mining machine along the conveyor. The guide rail includes a profile lug which engages over the horizontal chain links of the drive gear chain and holds the chain links on a chain support in the chain duct. The guide rails also includes a rolled profile which forms a sealing strip that closes off the chain duct of the drive gear chain on the side of the conveyor. The chain duct includes opening on the storing side which are designed to discharge fine materials which enter the trough section.

  • Patent number: 5580135
Abstract: A horizontally extending guide rail has an upwardly open slot and a mining machine is displaceable longitudinally along the guide rail and has a drive wheel with teeth engageable into the slot. A drive chain rides in the slot and has horizontal links and vertical links alternating with the horizontal links and each formed with a horizontal lower shank having ends, a horizontal upper shank having ends above the ends of the respective lower shank and forming an upwardly open pocket dimensioned to receive a tooth of the drive wheel, and a pair of horizontally spaced and vertically extending bights connecting the ends of the upper shank to the ends of the respective lower shank. The bights pass through the horizontal links flanking the respective vertical link.

  • Patent number: 5579896
Abstract: A scraper conveyor has a channel having a pair of parallel and longitudinally extending upstanding sides and a chain extending longitudinally along the channel between the sides thereof and normally advanced therein in a travel direction. A chain-arresting system has a crosspiece fixable to the chain and having outer ends juxtaposed with the channel sides and each of a predetermined length measured in the direction. Respective blocks fittable with the sides of the channel are each formed with an inwardly open inner groove into which the respective end of the crosspiece can engage. An abutment in the groove has a rear face directed backward against the direction and engageable with the respective crosspiece end and an inner hole spaced in the direction rearward of the abutment face by a distance greater than the crosspiece-end length. Respective pins engageable through the inner holes behind the respective crosspiece ends trap same in the respective blocks.
