  • Patent number: 8297162
Abstract: A method of identifying and optionally neutralizing an undersea object (1, 1?) that might be an undersea mine and that is of known geographical position, in which an undersea intervention robot (4, 4?) is used suspended under an aircraft capable of stationary flight, such as a helicopter (7) or a drone, serving to bring the robot (4, 4?) into register with the object (1, 1?) for identification and possibly for being neutralized, the object is identified, and optionally it is neutralized.

  • Patent number: 8137834
Abstract: An electrical cell for the propulsion of a device in an aquatic medium includes a first, second and third chamber forming a housing. The first chamber has an auxiliary electrical cell and a command and control module for the electrical propulsion cell, the second chamber a main electrical cell and members for the controlled admission and regulation of water flow from the aquatic medium in order to form an activation electrolyte for the main cell, and the third chamber a module for triggering the admission by suction of water and the discharge by escape of effluents from an admission valve and an escape valve. The command and control module activates the auxiliary electrical cell to generate electrical energy temporarily and the admission by suction of water from the aquatic medium and the discharge of effluents in order to produce electrical energy from the main electrical cell during a cruise phase.

  • Patent number: 7156042
Abstract: A device for unwinding a wire providing data transmission of any type (instructions or accounts) between two mobile elements (1) and (7) operating in a fluid, includes one or two reels housed in a winder (2). The winder (2), capable of being dissociated from the two mobile elements (1) and (7) includes stabilizing elements for moving away the reeling point from the launching mobile element (7). The invention is applicable to wire-transmission between a submarine and a self-propelled torpedo.
