    Abstract: Coffee-making device with a piston/cylinder unit, the piston (3) being driven by a crankshaft (11). A swivelling arm structure (13) is also driven by means of the crankshaft, with the interposition of a cam/cam follower mechanism. The swivelling arm structure is provided with a cover (19) for closing off the free end of the cylinder (2). The cover can be pressed onto the cylinder by means of a cam structure.
