Abstract: A domestic appliance for processing foods including: a bowl, with an opening for introducing foods into the bowl and into which a tool for processing foods is inserted, a splash guard, which can be inserted into the opening of the bowl, such that boundary regions of the splash guard are opposite an inner wall of the opening to prevent foods from spraying out of the bowl, and a cover, which can be inserted into the opening of the bowl once the splash guard has been inserted into the opening of the bowl, wherein the splash guard includes a plate which extends substantially flat and ends with boundary regions.

Abstract: An actuation unit for a household appliance, preferably an electrically drivable, household appliance, includes an actuation element, having an actuation element base. The actuation element has a protrusion portion extending from the actuation element base, which is inserted into a recess of an actuation button, such that the actuation element and the actuation button have, in an assembled state, a degree of freedom in a direction corresponding to the extension of the protrusion portion and in a further direction.

Abstract: An implement for stirring or comminuting food including a rotatable shaft which is driven by a motor, a working part provided on an end of said shaft opposite to the motor, and an inner assembly and an outer assembly which define a housing of the implement. The inner assembly is movable within the outer assembly. The inner assembly rotatably bears the shaft such that the working part is situated on an outer side of the implement. The working part is provided within a shield which is provided on the outer assembly, wherein the inner assembly, together with the shaft, is movable axially with respect to the outer assembly. The inner assembly is borne with respect to the outer assembly such that axial movement of the inner assembly with respect to the outer assembly leads to a rotational movement of the outer assembly with respect to the inner assembly.

The domestic appliance includes an electric motor for driving the domestic appliance; a control unit for controlling the motor; a first actuation element for outputting a first control signal to the control unit in order to select a motor control mode; and a second actuation element for outputting a second control signal to the control unit. The blade also includes a milling rib which protrudes upwards from the blade in an axial direction and is oriented so as to produce a milling effect when circulating and defines a corresponding milling zone that extends from the hub to the cutting zone of the cutter.
