The body of oil and a stream of air are heated, and the basket is positioned with the food therein at least partially above the body of oil so the heated air stream can circulate through the basket and air-cook the food. Cyclically the basket is at least partially immersed in the heated oil to also cook the food with the oil.

Abstract: The apparatus for producing a coffee beverage comprises an automatic coffee machine and a receptacle that can be docked with the beverage spigot of the machine in filling position, the receptacle having a mechanism that is detectable by a sensor mechanism in the machine when the receptacle attains the filling position, the sensor mechanism being in communication with the control unit of the coffee machine in such a way that, when it detects the detectable mechanism, it automatically sends the control unit a signal to switch the coffee machine to an operating mode that consecutively executes one or more operating cycles for filling of the receptacle.

Abstract: A coffee machine has a housing, a dispenser head on the housing for pouring brewed coffee into a cup below the dispenser head, a horizontally open steam/hot-water dispenser fixed on the housing adjacent the dispenser head, and a container adapted to hold a supply of milk and having a cover. A connection conduit opening into a chamber on the cover and can fit with the steam/hot-water dispenser to receive steam or hot water therefrom. An air-suction conduit opens into the chamber, and a milk-suction conduit extends from the chamber down into the milk in the container. A discharge conduit carried on the container and opening into the chamber can shift into a working position directed into the zone to feed a mixture of steam or hot water and air and/or milk into the cup below the dispenser head.

Abstract: A pasta cooker has a base carrying a bowl having an electrical heater. A basket can move between a lower position immersed in water in the bowl and an upper position largely out of the bowl. A stirring element rotatably mounted on the basket carries a paddle projecting upward into the basket. A controller energizes the heater to bring the water in the bowl to a boil, then lowers the basket into it. The stirring element fits with a drive in the base so it can rotate and stir the water and any foodstuff in the bowl in the boiling water. After an interval preset in a timer elapses, the controller lifts the basket out of the bowl.
