Abstract: A firearm scope alignment tool and method of use. An alignment tool may have a guide component, which may be located at the buttstock end of a firearm, may have a light source component, which may be positioned on the distal side of a scope and oriented into the scope, and may have a lens component, which may be positioned on the proximal side of the scope. The lens and light source may magnify and project the reticle of the scope onto the guide component, which may allow the scope to be adjusted in order to position the reticle such that the vertical line of the reticle is parallel to the bisecting plane of the firearm, as indicated by the guide component.
