Abstract: A universal earpiece, and methods of making and using such an earpiece, whereby the earpiece includes a retaining body, and a projection element outwardly extending from the retaining body. When a wearer wears the earpiece, the retaining body is configured to dispose within the concha of an ear of a wearer, and the projection element is configured for projecting into the ear canal opening of the wearer. Upon rotation of the earpiece, the retaining body fixedly engages with the concha to retain the projection element within the ear canal opening.
