Abstract: An endovascular system includes an implant and a delivery system configured to deliver and deploy the implant to a treatment site in a vessel. The implant is radially expandable and configured to be deployed in vessels with diameters ranging from a minimal diameter to a maximal diameter. The delivery system comprises a proximal landing zone indicator comprising a radiopaque marker having a length from a proximal end to a distal end of the radiopaque marker, wherein the proximal end of the radiopaque marker indicates a position of the proximal end of the implant if deployed at a treatment site in a vessel having the minimal diameter, and the distal end of the radiopaque marker indicates a position of the proximal end of the implant if deployed at a treatment site in a vessel having the maximal diameter. A method of delivering an expandable implant to a target site in a patient's vascular system is also disclosed.

Abstract: A balloon catheter includes a tubular body and a balloon circumferentially around a portion of the tubular body. The tubular body includes an outer surface and an inner surface defining a lumen of the tubular body. The balloon comprises a proximal end portion and a distal end portion each being secured to the tubular body, and a distensible portion defining an interior that is in fluid communication with the lumen of the tubular body. The distal end portion of the balloon extends through the outer surface and the inner surface into the lumen of the tubular body, forming a sealing portion circumferentially around the inner surface of the tubular body. A catheter assembly including a balloon catheter and a method of use are also provided.

Abstract: An occlusion device includes a braided mesh body and at least one pinch member. The braided mesh body comprises plural strands each having a first end portion and a second end portion. The plural strands fold over to bring the second end portions of the plural strands adjacent to the first end portions of the plural strands forming a double-layer of the braided mesh body. In an example occlusion device, at least one of the plural strands is radiopaque, and the at least one pinch member is non-radiopaque.

Abstract: An aspiration catheter includes an elongate tubular body having a proximal end portion and a distal end portion. The elongate tubular body comprises an inner liner and one or more outer layers. The inner liner comprises a first surface defining a lumen of the elongate tubular body and a second surface. The one or more outer layers are disposed over the second surface of the inner liner. In an embodiment, the inner liner has a first thickness at the proximal end portion of the elongate tubular body and a second thickness at the distal end portion of the elongate tubular body smaller than the first thickness. In another embodiment, the inner liner is provided with plural voids between the first surface and the second surface of the inner liner.

Abstract: An embolic device includes a microcoil having a portion comprising one or more sets of loops. Loops of each of the one or more sets intersect one with another in succession in a cycle, collectively forming a three-dimensional shape. A shape-setting device includes a three-dimensional (3D) body having a curved surface and a plurality of winding members extending from the curved surface of the 3D body and arranged in a plurality of groups. Winding members of each of the plurality of groups are configured to allow a microcoil to wrap around to form a loop, and adjacent groups of winding members share a winding member to allow loops formed by the adjacent groups to intersect one with another. A method of making an embolic device is also provided.

Abstract: An intraluminal device includes a radially expandable body and a control member operable to expand and contract the radially expandable body. The radially expandable body comprises plural sets of first filaments spiraling in a first direction from a proximal end portion to a distal end portion of the radially expandable body and plural sets of second filaments spiraling in a second direction from the proximal end portion to the distal end portion. The plural sets of first filaments intersect the plural sets of second filaments, forming plural cross sections of the radially expandable body. At least one of the plural sets of first filaments comprises a filament constructed of a radiopaque material.
