  • Patent number: 9885483
Abstract: A thermostat for cooking appliances powered by gas includes a body defining an inlet conduit and an outlet conduit that receive a gas flow from a supply source and to supply it to a gas burner, and a chamber having a substantially cylindrical shape that is in fluid communication with the inlet conduit, and also with the outlet conduit either directly, through a main opening formed at one end thereof, or indirectly, through a secondary conduit formed in the body of the thermostat. The gas flows into the outlet conduit bypassing the main opening. A one-piece valve adjusting the gas flow rate is coaxially fitted in the chamber and guided by its peripheral walls. These features make the structural configuration of the thermostat body and its conduits is much more compact, functional and less expensive than in thermostats known in the art.

  • Patent number: 9581336
Abstract: A thermostat for gas-powered cooking appliances includes a body having an inlet conduit and an outlet conduit that respectively receive and supply a gas flow, and a chamber in fluid communication both with the inlet conduit, and also with the outlet conduit either directly, through a main opening formed at one end thereof, or indirectly, through a secondary conduit formed in the body of the thermostat, which reaches the outlet conduit bypassing the main opening. A valve that adjusts gas flow rate is coaxially fitted in the chamber and has a position that is controlled by an expandable member of a thermostatic bulb of the thermostat. The valve is axially deformable beyond a predefined load threshold and compensates for dilations of the expandable member under a normal operating condition, absorbing axial forces exerted by the thermostat knob when rotated to switch off a burner driven by the thermostat.

  • Publication number: 20160327277
Abstract: A gas burner for cooking equipment, such as a cooking hob, includes a supporting cup-shaped injector holder fixable in a position corresponding to an opening in the cooking hob in which the burner is to be installed, a flame divider resting on the cup-shaped support to define, with its outer circumferential rim and with the surface of the cooking hob in which the burner to be installed, a passage for the entry of a flow of primary air, a sheet metal cover removably resting on the flame divider and defining therewith a distribution chamber for the combustion mixture of gas and primary air, wherein the distribution chamber is bounded by a raised band, in which radial slots are provided for passage of the combustion mixture, the cover having apertures facing the radial slots and cooperating therewith to define the inclination of the flames emerging from the apertures.

  • Patent number: 9127838
Abstract: An improved gas burner for cooking appliances, with an inner central portion (40) defining an inner chamber (52) provided with a central flame ring (72) and with an outer portion (42) concentric with said central portion (40) defining an outer chamber (47) provided with at least one outer flame ring (78), characterised by comprising a pair of first injectors (14) of substantially horizontal axis, symmetrically disposed about a diametrical vertical plane of said burner, said first injectors (14) being associated with respective adjacent venturi conduits (24) with substantially horizontal parallel axes, feeding said outer portion (42) with a gas/primary air mixture to generate said outer flame ring (78), said adjacent conduits (24) being spaced apart to define a space within which a second injector (16) of vertical axis is disposed facing a venturi conduit (50) of vertical axis feeding said inner central portion (40) with a gas/primary air mixture to generate said central flame ring (72).

  • Patent number: 8511294
Abstract: A gas burner for cooking appliances employing a ring of main flames for cooking, and a ring of simmering flames for heating. A first chamber contains the gas and primary air mixture for feeding the ring of main flames through a circumferential wall with a plurality of radial apertures. The chamber contains the gas and primary air mixture for feeding the ring of simmering flames through radial passages. The chambers are superposed, and a separator plate is interposed between the chambers. A cover rests on the separator plate and the radial apertures are defined therebetween. The cover extends beyond the passage and shields same from ambient conditions.
