Abstract: A method and apparatus for the sorting of material in which a rigid rack includes a plurality of horizontally extending elements arranged in vertically spaced arrangement, and a plurality of bags are removably supported on the horizontally extending elements for receiving material therein. The horizontally extending elements and the bag members are respectively constructed and arranged to hold the bag members with their mouth portions stretched open and facing forwardly one above the other on the rack. The rack further includes elements for maintaining the bag members substantially horizontally one above the other with their mouth portions open. The bag members are selectively removed from the frame with the inserted material therein by horizontally sliding the bag member off the frame.

Abstract: A modular storage system comprising an elongated base part having two spaced continuous channels extending generally parallel to one another longitudinally of the base part, and at least one upright member extendable transversely of the base part and including a pair of downwardly projecting lugs respectively engaged in the channels in the base part. The lugs are spaced apart in relation to the spacing of the channels to enable the lugs to be inserted into the channels with the upright member vertical and at an angle to the channels whereupon the upright member can be turned to a position tranverse of the base part to secure the lugs in the channels and the upright member on the base part.

Abstract: A tray and its method of formation for supporting card-like articles in juxtaposed relation therein comprising a one-piece body of plastic material molded in flat form with a base, a pair of opposite side parts and a pair of opposite end parts. The side parts and end parts are joined to the base by fold lines about which the parts can be upfolded to form side walls and end walls for the tray. The end walls have tabs at their lateral edges and the side walls are formed with slots which receive the tabs when the walls are in upfolded condition. The end walls form an angle with the vertical in the secured position and the lateral edges are engaged between pairs of ribs formed on the side walls.
