Abstract: A portable mouse, including a hinge assembly; a cantilever key plate arm rotationally coupled to the hinge assembly at a first end of the cantilever key plate arm, the cantilever key plate arm including: a plunger at a second end of the cantilever key plate arm, the second end opposite to the first end, the plunger including an end plate; a top cover that is positionally fixed with respect to the cantilever key plate arm; a compression spring coupled to the top cover such that the compression spring is positioned between a portion of the top cover and the end plate of the plunger; and a microswitch including a microswitch actuator, wherein the compressions spring exerts a first force on the end plate of the plunger such that the end plate of the plunger maintains contact with the microswitch actuator.
Abstract: A receptacle connector may include a housing for housing a first pin and a second pin. The first pin may be of a first length and configured to be coupled to a first corresponding pin of an information handling resource received by the receptacle connector, the first pin comprising two contact bumps for maintaining electrical contact with the first corresponding pin. The second pin may be of a second length and configured to be coupled to a second corresponding pin of the information handling resource. The second length may be substantially shorter than the first length such that when the information handling resource is inserted into the receptacle connector, the first corresponding pin engages with the first pin before the second corresponding pin engages with the second pin. The second pin may comprise one contact bump for maintaining electrical contact with the second corresponding pin.

Abstract: A keyboard, video monitor and mouse (KVM) Universal Serial Bus (USB) Internet protocol (IP) server interface pod (SIP) allows access to selected ones of a plurality of servers by a remotely located keyboard, video monitor and mouse. In addition, remote mounting of a USB device to the selected server is also possible. A digital KVM USB switch may be used for routing the remotely located keyboard, video monitor, mouse and USB device to the KVM USB IP SIP. The digital KVM USB switch also is coupled to a KVM USB IP interface. The KVM USB IP interface is located with and connected to the remotely located keyboard, video monitor, mouse and USB device. The KVM USB IP interface may be coupled to the digital KVM USB switch over a local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), or Internet.
Abstract: A keyboard system which includes a keyboard assembly and an embedded controller. The keyboard assembly includes a keyboard matrix and a keyscan controller coupled to the keyscan matrix. The keyscan controller receives position information from a pressed key of the keyboard matrix and generates basic keyscan information. The embedded controller receives the basic keyscan information and generates keycodes based upon the basic keyscan information.
