Abstract: A docking station a first connector, a post, and a pop-out cover. The first connector is mounted to float within a first opening of a case of the docking station. The post is in physical communication with the case. The post provides a first alignment between the first connector and a second connector of an information handling system. The pop-out cover is in physical communication with the case and the post. The pop-out cover is biased in a first alignment stage, and transitions from the first alignment stage to a second alignment stage in response to a force exerted on the pop-out cover by a weight of the information handling system. The first connector is joined with the second connector in response to pop-out cover being placed in the second alignment stage.

Abstract: A system includes a chassis assembly, a first boss component secured to the chassis assembly, and a second boss component secured to the chassis assembly. A first tab-bracket is secured to the first boss component and a second tab bracket is secured to the second boss component. Each tab-bracket includes a portion having adhesive applied thereon. A battery is affixed to the adhesive at the first tab-bracket and to the adhesive at the second tab-bracket after the tab-brackets are secured to the boss components.

The second configuration setting is accessible via the OpenFlow protocol. The hardware switching management controller includes an OpenFlow stacking manager configured to set the first configuration setting and the second configuration setting such that the switch stack includes the first and second stackable network switches.

Abstract: A system and method of determining the configuration of a network switching unit includes a network switching unit having one or more hardware processors. The one or more hardware processors are configured to execute code to cause the network switching unit to perform operations. The operations include detecting an inter-domain link aggregation group (LAG) associated with a first domain ID and receiving an inter-domain LAG detection message from a peer network switching unit. The inter-domain LAG detection message includes a second domain ID. In response to determining that the first domain ID and the second domain ID match, the network switching unit performs further operations including assigning a virtual link trunking (VLT) identifier to the inter-domain LAG, transmitting a VLT configuration message to the peer network switching unit, and forwarding network traffic to a first domain associated with the first domain ID using a VLT associated with the VLT identifier.

The memory media may store instructions executable by the processor for receiving a respective temperature value from each of the temperature sensors and calculating a battery temperature distribution value dependent on the received temperature values, including determining a difference between two temperature values. The instructions may be further executable for determining a respective value for each of one or more battery control parameters dependent on the battery temperature distribution value, and setting each of the battery control parameters to the determined value.
