Abstract: A linguistic semantic analysis application integration system includes an application and one or more linguistic semantic analysis databases that include application-specific programming language information that identifies application-specific programming language terms utilized in providing the application. A linguistic semantic analysis engine is provided a module to be utilized by the application, and operates to analyze the module to determine methods and properties included in the module. The methods and properties are then parsed to identify library programming language terms included in the methods and properties, and those library programming language terms are matched with the application-specific programming language terms included in the application-specific programming language information. Based on that matching, intent for the methods and properties is determined, and that intent is used to automatically generate integration code for integrating the module with the application.

Abstract: A layer 2 load balancing system includes server devices that provide virtual machines that each share a virtual Media Access Control (MAC) address. A switch device is coupled to each of the server devices via respective ports on the switch device. The switch device receives the virtual MAC address during a time period via each of the respective ports connected to the server devices and, in response, identifies a server device cluster that shares the virtual MAC address. When the switch device receive packets that are part of a packet flow and that are directed to the virtual MAC address, it then directs each of the packets that are part of the packet flow to one of the virtual machines that is provided on one of the server devices in the server device cluster.

Abstract: In accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure, an information handling system may include a circuit board, a device communicatively coupled to the circuit board via an electrical interface, a temperature sensor for sensing a measured temperature associated with the device, an air mover, a heating element thermally coupled to the electrical interface, and a thermal control system. The thermal control system may be configured to receive a temperature signal from the temperature sensor indicative of the measured temperature, responsive to the measured temperature being above a maximum threshold temperature, control the air mover to generate airflow sufficient to at least reduce the measured temperature to below the maximum threshold temperature, and responsive to the measured temperature being below a minimum threshold temperature, control the heating element to cause the measured temperature to be maintained above the minimum threshold temperature.

Abstract: An information handling system includes a storage device and a processor. The storage device includes a boot image for the information handling system. The processor determines an architectural location for a boot device for the information handling system, determines that the storage device is located at the architectural location of the information handling system, determines a unique identifier for the storage device, determines from a basic input/output system (BIOS) of the information handling system a BIOS identifier associated with the unique identifier, and places the BIOS identifier at the top of a BIOS boot order list.

Abstract: An information handling system having rotationally coupled housing portions supports a flexible display disposed across the housing portions with a hinge structure that manages flexible display curve radius in a folded configuration. A set of plural hinges having five geared rotational portions interconnect with a bar fixedly coupled to the center hinge rotational portion. The bar presses against a shape memory alloy support that manages curve radius of a flexible display during rotation of the hinges.

Abstract: A multilayer thermal laminate with aerogel is used for a battery cell enclosure to improve thermal properties and to reduce thermal inhomogeneity in the form of localized hotspots that exceed a desired rated temperature, thereby enabling a more compact design within rated thermal design limits for a given electrical performance.

Abstract: An automatic controller configuration system includes a chassis having a port. A transceiver connected to the port utilizes a number of lanes. A controller in the chassis is coupled to the port. The number of lanes utilized by the transceiver are identified, and the controller is configured to operate at a first speed utilizing the number of lanes. In response to detecting a signal transmitted by the transceiver and determining that a link provided via the transceiver has not been established with the controller operating at the first speed, the controller is reconfigured to operate at a second speed. In response to detecting the signal transmitted by the transceiver and determining that the link provided via the transceiver has been established with the controller operating at the second speed, the controller provides for communications with at least one device via the transceiver and at the second speed.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method, device and computer program product for storing data. The method comprises obtaining a first range of replica levels supported by a storage apparatus, wherein the replica level indicates the number of replicas of data. The method further comprises receiving a replica configuration requirement for an application, wherein the application supports a second range of replica levels. Moreover, the method further comprises determining a first replica level for the storage apparatus and a second replica level for the application based on the replica configuration requirement, the first range and the second range. By extracting the replica function supported by the storage apparatus, embodiments of the present disclosure can configure replica levels of the storage apparatus and the application from the global level for the user requirement for replicas of the data service.

Abstract: A peer configuration system provides a configuration file via peer-to-peer networking. A master device stores a peer configuration. Whenever any peer device requires configuration, the peer device assumes a slave role and queries the master device to retrieve the peer configuration. The peer configuration is thus propagated via peer-to-peer networking to the peer device. The peer device boots-up using the peer configuration retrieved from the master device.

Abstract: An information handling system includes gift selection circuitry, buying circuitry, and a graphical user interface. The gift selection circuitry includes a selection processing device, and a delivery processing device. The selection processing device receives, from a user, a request to add a list of items to a cart. The delivery processing device provides a secure link to a designated individual after the list of items is added to the cart. The graphical user interface displays the items in the cart as a list of available items in response to the secure link being selected by the designated individual. The buying circuitry confirms an order of a first item after selection of the first item from the list of available items, and sends a notification of completion of the transaction to the user.

Abstract: In one or more embodiments, one or more systems, methods, and/or processes may determine if a user is in contact with an information handling system. If the user is not in contact with the information handling system, the information handling system may utilize a thermal profile. If the user is in contact with the information handling system, it may be determined if the user is in contact with a first display of multiple displays of the information handling system. If the user is in contact with the first display, processing of information may be migrated from a component associated with the first display to a component associated with a second display of the multiple displays. If the user is not in contact with the first display, processing of the information may be migrated from the component associated with the second display to the component associated with the first display.

Abstract: A Common Information Module (CIM) interoperability system includes a server device coupled to a network. A remote access controller in the server device is coupled to server component(s), and includes a CIM provider coupled via a CIM provider communication subsystem to a REpresentational State Transfer (REST)-CIM provider. The REST-CIM provider receives a REST request generated by a client device and redirected to the REST-CIM provider by the server device, and converts the REST request to CIM request. The REST-CIM provider then makes a call to the CIM provider that includes the CIM request and is based on a type of HTTP method request in the REST request. When the REST-CIM provider receives a CIM response from the CIM provider, it converts Common Manageability Programming Interface (CMPI) response data in that CIM response to JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) objects, and provides the JSON objects to the server device.

Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods for on-screen keyboard detection for multi-form factor Information Handling Systems (IHSs) are described. In an illustrative, non-limiting embodiment, an IHS may include a processor; and a memory coupled to the processor, the memory having program instructions stored thereon that, upon execution by the processor, cause the IHS to: detect a keyboard using a magnetic sensor; and determine, in response to the detection, a position of the keyboard relative to a display surface of a second display, where the second display is coupled to a first display via a hinge.

Abstract: Embodiments of systems and methods for using contextual center-of-gravity for outputting audio in collaborative environments are described. In some embodiments, an Information Handling System (IHS) may include: a processor; and a memory coupled to the processor, the memory having program instructions stored thereon that, upon execution by the processor, cause the IHS to: identify a first position of a first participant and a second position of a second participant during a collaboration session; calculate a Center-of-Gravity (CoG) based, at least in part, upon the first and second positions; and output audio during the collaboration session with a level determined based upon the CoG.

The operating system of an information handling system may receive a notification from a BMC of the information handling system, via a basic input/output system (BIOS), of the information handling system that the BMC has received the firmware update. The operating system may halt traffic to the PCI component for which an update has been received, and the update may be applied to the component.

Abstract: An information handling system may perform a quick boot based on a determination that a boot does not require an update to at least one of a firmware and hardware of an information handling system. The information handling system may reboot and may determine whether a boot of the system requires an update to at least one of a firmware and hardware of the information handling system. If the boot does not require an update to the at least one of a firmware and hardware of the information handling system, the information handling system may boot by bypassing one or more basic input/output system (BIOS) power-on self-test (POST) operations.
