  • Patent number: 4123629
Abstract: A connector for testing an electric installation by means of a mobile test connector half which is applied to a fixed test connector half, wherein the mobile half carries pins and push fingers and the fixed half carries sockets and mobile bridge contacts and wherein different distances between co-operating elements of the two halves enable switching operations to be graduated during mating. The invention applies in particular to protection installations.

  • Patent number: 4082932
Abstract: Electrical equipment cell of the air insulated type, comprising a switch which connects a first plug which is live, to a second plug, on either side of a wall, the switch being arranged in an assembly formed by a metallic tank fixed on the wall and by two bell-shaped insulators which are assembled on the metallic tank to receive the first and second plugs respectively. A dielectric screen connected to ground is placed in the first bell-shaped insulator between the contacts of the switch in the open position, so the, in that open position, a person placed on the same side as the second bell-shaped insulator cannot come directly into contact with a live part.

  • Patent number: 4075673
Abstract: The invention concerns a system of several circuit-breakers controlling separate circuits fed by the same generator and in which the circuit-breakers are provided with a main cut-out chamber (C.sub.1, C.sub.2) in parallel with a series connection of an auxiliary cut-out chamber (E.sub.1, E.sub.2) and of a resistor (R.sub.1, R.sub.2). An operating sequence opens firstly the main chambers (C.sub.2) of all the circuit-breakers of circuits not affected by a failure, then, successively, the main chamber (C.sub.1) and the auxiliary chamber (E.sub.1) of the circuit-breaker of the circuit affected by the failure, and, lastly, closes the main chambers (C.sub.2) of the circuit-breakers of the circuits not affected by the failure.

  • Patent number: 4054351
Abstract: This electrical connection relates to an electrical link between a device in a metallic sheath insulated by a gas under pressure and a transformer insulated by a dielectric liquid. The connection comprises a jacket separating the interior volume of the transformer from that of the device and having a frustoconical insulating wall shielding the capacitor bushing and penetrating into the sheath. The insulating wall comprises on the outside of its base a flange having two concentric annular surfaces, one coming into contact with the sheath of the device and defining a junction plane between the interior volume of the device under gas pressure and the atmosphere, the other defining with another part a junction plane between the interior volume of the jacket filled with dielectric liquid and the atmosphere.
