  • Patent number: 8955720
Abstract: A container for flowable substances includes a rigid, concave lower part having an outlet and an upper part including of a convex flexible film that is mirror-inverted with respect to the inner contour of the lower part. The upper and lower parts may be in the shape of hemispheres. The upper part is surrounded by a housing body which is tightly connected with the lower part and may be connected to a pressure source for emptying the container. In the emptied condition of the container, the film lies flush at the inner contour of the lower part of the container. For emptying, air pressure is applied to the upper part of the container. The outlet is provided with a closure in the shape of a disc which is rotatable about an axis offset from the opening of the outlet and has a passage for inserting a dispensing nipple.

  • Patent number: 8480845
Abstract: We propose a thermosetting solvent-free single-component composition having a storage stability at room temperature of at least 2 weeks, consisting of (A) 5-90 parts by weight of one at least difunctional (iso)cyanate component, (B) 5-50 parts by weight of a latent curing agent solid up to a temperature of at least 40° C. based on nitrogen compounds suitable for addition crosslinking, (C) 0-50 parts by weight of an epoxy-containing compound and (D) 0-50 parts by weight of modifiers, with the sum of all parts by weight being 100, and its use for bonding, casting, sealing and coating of substrates, in particular electronic parts. The composition is cured at 120° C. to 150° C. within seconds.

  • Publication number: 20020113217
Abstract: For the pre-activation of cationically polymerizing materials a radiation source is used which has a radiation surface formed by a plurality of LEDs. The radiation surface is spaced a small distance from the material to be irradiated. Irradiation is performed such that the material is heated to less than 50° C. and that a sufficient potlife is achieved which enables the material to be further processed before it cures.

  • Patent number: 6284827
Abstract: A polymerizable fluorine-containing composition is proposed, containing at least one polymerizable compound and at least one fluorine-containing compound, which for reducing the content of fluoride ions extractable with water of cured polymer masses obtainable from the composition additionally contains at least one magnesium compound. The composition is particularly suitable for bonding, potting and coating of electronic devices and for mounting electronic devices on printed circuit boards. Further proposed is a process for the preparation of cured polymer masses having a reduced content of fluoride ions extractable with water, comprising polymerizing and curing the composition to which at least one magnesium compound is added prior to the polymerization.
