    Abstract: A folder-based file management device includes: a memory and a processor electrically connected to the memory, the processor being configured to: sense a user terminal's access to a folder; provide a list of files in the folder the user terminal is given access to; and provide file badges for the files to which the user terminal is given access. The file badges indicate the number of file updates not read by the user terminal that are made when a file the user terminal is given access to is uploaded or updated.
