Abstract: A modular multilevel converter system, and a voltage detection method and an open-circuit fault diagnosis method thereof are disclosed. The modular multilevel converter system includes: N sub-modules sequentially cascaded, where N is an integer greater than or equal to 2, each of the sub-modules comprising at least one bridge arm and a capacitor connected in parallel to the bridge arm, the capacitor having a positive terminal and a negative terminal; and a voltage detection unit for detecting a voltage between at least two adjacent sub-modules in the N sub-modules, the voltage detection unit being connected between the positive terminal of the capacitor of the first sub-module and the negative terminal of the capacitor of the last sub-module in the at least two sub-modules.

Abstract: In order to balance the thermal stress of the switches (S1-S4) of the two legs of an inverter full bridge (4), the driving signals are generated using an up-down counter having a modulation period Tmod of twice the period T of the input voltage (Vin). The up-down counter has a first compare value (41) of D/4 and a second compare value (42) of (2+D)/4, where D is the duty cycle and where the second half bridge is phase shifted by the period T.

Abstract: Provided are a sensor arrangement for a foreign object detection device for a wireless power transfer system, a foreign object detection and a primary part for a wireless power transfer system. The sensor arrangement includes multiple detection cells, each including a sense coil including a winding spirally wound in a plane and having multiple turns. Multiple input leads and one or more output leads are provided such that each detection cell may be connected to a current input and a current output. The sense coil of at least one detection cell includes an outer coil section and an inner coil section arranged inside the outer coil section, where a first distance between an outermost turn of the inner coil section and an innermost turn of the outer coil section is at least twice a largest distance between two turns of the outer coil section.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a troubleshooting system for current sensors including a motor, three current sensors and a controller. The three current sensors respectively sense three phase currents of the three-phase current of the motor to obtain three current sensing values. The controller is configured to control the three-phase current of the motor. When the sum of the three current sensing values is greater than a threshold, the controller controls the three phase currents to be zero, and a first offset sensor and a current offset are obtained. When the sum of the three current sensing values equals the current offset, a second offset sensor is obtained. If the first offset sensor and the second offset sensor are the same current sensor, the controller outputs a warning signal, if the first offset sensor and the second offset sensor are different current sensors, the controller controls the motor to stop operating.

Abstract: A mesh hook surface fastener does not lose engagement ability even when subjected to mold-in forming and gives only a slight feeling of something foreign. The mesh hook surface fastener contains first shape holding ribs (a21) with a relatively small protrusion height and second shape holding ribs (a22) with a relatively large protrusion height which protrude to the opposite side of hook-shaped engagement elements (B1, B2) across a base layer (A1) and are alternately arranged. The heights of the adjacent shape holding ribs (a21, a22) are different, which prevents the direct entrance of a foamable resin liquid and weakens its force. As the force weakens, foaming and curing progress more readily and, as a result, the amount of the foamable resin liquid that passes through meshes of the base layer to reach the hook-shaped engagement elements can be reduced.
