    Abstract: A chain block with a drive motor (2) with a motor shaft (11), which is connected at the take-off side via a slip clutch (50) to a transmission input shaft (14), having a first gear (18a) and mounted in a housing (1) by pivot bearings (13, 13a), of an at least one-stage transmission (3). In order to create a simple design of chain block with a slip clutch, the transmission input shaft (14) is to be mounted floating in the pivot bearings (13, 13a) in order to change the frictional force of the slip clutch (50).
